I now have to leave off for a short time and do some cooking. Still there are tea towels to be ranger rolled and as I am in the kitchen anyway..... :D

That is exactly what I will be doing tonight - I have always 'rolled' clothes for packing cant think why I havent applied it to tea towels, which I always iron BTW so they fit in the drawer......may not have to do that now!

To the person who has 400 plastic bags.........that would have cost at least £20 if you lived here:eek:

  • The Kondoing continues....

    Clothes - done
    Shoes/accessories - done
    Books - done
    Bathroom - done
Towels (including tea towels) - done (Ranger roled t-towels and flannels)
    Magazines - done
    Candles & holders - done

    Its feeeeeels gooood!
Did a mini-Kondo in the kitchen - we had 3 fish slices used for frying things - all were dead cheap and bendy and the plastic handles were melted in parts after leaving them on the frying pan - they were doing my head in so on my weekly Asda run I bought a decent one and chucked the other 3 horrible ones out.
Back to work tomorrow and have an essay due (for OU) so might not do as much Konding this week but its ongoing.....

Were they Tesco bags? I rarely go to Tesco but had a couple in my stash a while ago and when sorting them out this happened.

Yes they were. It was quite funny at the time but I keep finding bits everywhere. Not Kondo technique at all. A place for everything and everything in its place.

Just heard this on radio 4!

The poet, Peter Wyton reading his poem " The Ladies of The Charity Shop"

Can't imagine what the ladies will do after receiving all our bags!:rotfl:

Ok, here a a before pic (toadd to the shame). Now the top drawer bottom had fallen out and basically all the clothes were in the middle drawer which fell off the runners due to the weight. Note the sneaky carrier bags at the side!

I have kondoed the top drawer, found 3 packs of knickers and I'd bought two on Friday because I 'had none'. Had to walk the dog before it got dark so didn't get any further. But drawer 2 is night clothes and socks!

Hello, everyone. I kondo'd my clothes last Sunday, resulting in 5 half full bin bags to the CS (so I could carry them!). My wardrobe is a thing of beauty, so much so that I've left the sliding doors ajar so I can admire the view when I'm in bed!

This Sunday I've done the crockery and hardware in the kitchen. Two carrier bags, reinforced, to go tomorrow.

Very grateful for the ranger rolling link, as I will be away for a few nights soon and will do this when I pack so I can manage with a smaller travel bag.

And huge thanks to MummyRivett for setting up the Pinterest page.

How on earth do I end up with odd lids and plastic storage boxes? I have a few, which are in quarantine for a week in case their missing partner shows up - after that they're gone!

Pixie dust, the select all, copy and paste on photobucket and the iPad is like a quick draw dual and a bit random. So copied wrong link first time. Took 5 mins and 38 attempts before I could get select all to work!
