Big holiday win dilemma

I think a lot of posters have got a "rose-tinted" idea of students during their final A level year! It's not all work-work-work! Quite the opposite! Sadly....
As for teachers having planned work, revision, practice papers etc, of course they do but there is some flexibility and if the school are sympathetic they will be able to give the OP's daughter a lot of work to do so as not to fall behind. Many tasks can be done online too. Most schools have websites/ emails and suggests to their students how they can learn independently.
I think this opportunity is too good to be dismissed and missed without even trying!LBM: August 2006 £12,568.49 - DFD 22nd March 2012

Yay got permission to go. Very supportive head teacher who spoke to her teachers and she is well ahead with her studies. Off she goes in 12 days.0
