Pixie has a new trick.. she can throw EPIC tantrums.. she is going hysterical if she isn't permanently attached to my boof.. I'm not wanting her to wean fully but she is wanting to feed more than she did as a newborn!!!

DS1 is 24 so plenty young enough to do pretty much anything he is just like my dad.. he will get an unchallenging job and within 3 weeks he is bored and making excuses not to go then telling the owners/managers in an aggressive manner how he could run their business so much better than they do, they get annoyed and fire him.. He has been told time and again an employer doesn't want your opinion they want you to do what you are told.. shut up and get on with it... but I know nothing because I've only ever done voluntary work and been a mum.. He seriously needs a kick up the posterior! He will be ringing me before I ring him!

I cleaned all the surfaces down in the kitchen on Monday and they are all cluttered and messy again.. I MUST go on a flinging frenzy!!

AF just turned up 6 weeks late.. you have no idea how many times I pee'd on sticks in that time.. VERY pleased to see her I am!! She is my friend and I get quite jittery if she is tardy!

This weekend I am going to sort my bedroom.. I want to half the quantity of clothes I have.. anything too big I going, anything not worn in the last year is going.. ebay is going to be over used this year I MUST get some stuff under control.

BG got an ear full today.. they rang to tell me to pay my electric bill.. I asked what the balance was they said.. nothing! So they started harping on about paying my gas bill which was billed 2 days ago.. I said it's not due for paymenet yet and it will be paid when I have the money same as all my other bills.. so the guy started asking about my income and if I had children and other irrelevant stuff.. he didn't get answers to any of it other than ' how is this relevant?' .. I told him I'm not overdue with any payments, I'm not in arrears so why is any of this of any consequence? .. well we just want to help you.. if I want help I will ask for it, goodbye! ... RUDE in the extreme!!

On a plus note .. I have cleared some food out of the fridge, filled the bins, got rid of all the lurking Christmas rubbish and now just have laundry to do and homes to put all the new stuff.

This year I intend to start dying my own wool and OH is going to be making candles.. hopefully between us we can build a small business we can fit around the children.. first, I need to find my kitchen and get the bathplugging thing tiled!! .. yes STILL... 9 years and counting!

Big (((hugs))) from me and DH, mrs-mp. You, your mum and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I have done absolutely nothing today except register the guarantee for my new food mixer, as yesterday evening I had a nasty flare-up of flu-like symptoms, aching all over and high temperature - it's probably arthritis or something (it's happened before); definitely not flu or the start of a bad cold - so I have spent the day in bed or curled up on the sofa. Still feeling a little bit wobbly but almost back to normal now. It was a big disappointment that we couldn't got to London today; we'd booked tickets for the German exhibition at the British Museum. Hopefully we can get there before it closes on 25th.

I might manage a bit of paperwork this evening...

My friend has been told that she is to be moved from hospital, unfortunately not back to her own home but to a nursing home for palliative care :( I've been expecting this, and tbh so has she, but it's not easy for her or her son. Coping vibes for them would be greatly appreciated.

Another wave of post-Christmas, New Year and OH's birthday exhaustion overtook me today. Very boring, but I did straighten stuff out, put stuff away where it belonged, tidied the kitchen again and all of that kind of stuff. I'm very short of sleep, I think.

Healing vibes for you, JulieJim and Bossy for whatever ails you both.

    Welcome Lottie379! Post away!

Coping vibes for your friend and her son, Ionafan. It's so desperately sad. I hope the nursing home looks after her well.

I hope the physio went well Lamewolf.
    Better is good enough.

I've sorted all DS2's banking out with him, he is so easy, doing the same thing with DS1 is like pulling teeth - funny how they can be so different.

Going to do 15 minutes filing now and usher DS3 into the shower.

    thank you all
iona get well soon vibes for you and the gentlest of supporting hugs for your friend her family and you regarding the news she is to be moved, i hope she is well taken care of and receives all the love and support she and her family and friends need at this difficult time
LW i do hope the physio went ok and wasnt too traumatic for you.

im still decluttering at least an item a day Dusty. been in the attic throwing boxes about most of the late afternoon and early evening. lots of boxes thrown in recycling along with ratty giftbags, scruffy paper napkins and old wrapping and tissue paper that wont be reused. just for good measure the old broken aol router that was broken so replaced by an engineer is now binned - why it went into the attic at all is beyond me. and a couple of broken christmas deccys have also been binned.
will need to re dyson the stairs and landing in the morning as it is now covered with christmas confetti.
upshot of that is christmas is now all packed neatly away
ive just lit the last of my advent tea lights so going to have a quiet sit with my book now.

hugs to all that need them and i hope the poorlys are feeling better soon

Not had chance read everything but I'm cracking on with today's list. A couple of things will have to wait until the weekend - we currently only have one lot of bedding and are buying more and bedside cabinets on Saturday!
