Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Productive afternoon here. Kitchen is done quite a bit, and the workmen next door were saying they didn't have enough wood to increase the sides of the skips so they can get rid of stuff...so I offered the flatpack stuff thats in my yard ;) Its all going bye bye now, and they said they'll take the lot as they're getting more skips in return for a hot cup of tea :shhh: One tray of tea/coffee & some cake out to them earlier. I'll do the same tomorrow ;)

Oh and I've also done the newsletter. Just going to get DD to read through it to make sure it makes sense.

I need to go to Mr A later, with DD, and pick some bits up. But first I need to go do battle with the back gate which I've left open for them to get in and out the yard as its banging in the wind. :(

I live in a small flat so it really shouldn’t be difficult to keep on top of, but I just can’t get excited about housework very often, by which time it has become a huge job. I’m intending to practice flying to get into better habits!

just had a call off my mum, she NEVER rings so i knew it was serious. my uncle has passed away today but for him it must be classed as a release. i was told in sept his passing was imminent as he had brain cancer and had suffered a stroke. i havent seen him for years but as kids we lived over the road from each other so always played together till we moved away. he was only a couple of years older than me, i know wed sort of lost touch over the years but its still made me feel weird. obviously has hit my mum as it was her much younger bro and tomorrow would have been my aunts birthday if she hadnt also passed (she was one of mums younger sis's) mum brought this up on the phone. saying hed hung on to see the year in with his DD but wanted to be guest of honour at my Aunt Lous birthay party.

all have a hug please i feel the need to share one

(((HUGS))) Mrs mp it doesn't matter that you'd not kept in touch a lot, it's still hard to hear of such a passing.

Lotti welcome - I could never get excited about chores either, but it's much easier with this lovely friendly bunch of mad folks:D I follow my own list for the most part, also using the "official" list for inspiration in case I've forgotten something, and come here for encouragement and friendship.:o

I'd better sign off now, we'll need to get ready to visit the physio-terrorist shortly.

Bedroom Done! Just waiting for duvet to finish drying so I can finish making the bed. Underwear drawer was recently decluttered, so I started on the next drawer down. I'll finish tomorrow.

DD delivered and collected from uni, attended my appointment, then met DS1 for coffee in favourite French cafė and we also had a brisk and speedy walk around town. I succumbed to a very nice recipe folder from Paperchase which was massively reduced. This will replace the exercise book I bought when I was leaving home for uni 39 years ago. It has been falling apart for quite a while now...
