I have mountains of washing but the airers are all full and I don't want the dryer on 24/7

DS1 has just royally pee'd me off! Telling me I know nothing, you cannot train for a career after you are 19 and he doesn't know how to enrol at college... then telling me I don't know anything when I give him the relevant info and chew his ears about his endless excuses for his laziness.

    Morning all.

Having a slow morning as I've done something to my back in the night and some movements hurt, particularly lifting things :(

The fellas are back next door today. They're currently filling skip 4 and they're not upstairs yet! Furniture is starting to come out, and a few kitchen things, but some of what they chucked out yesterday was dated 1986!!! The house is smaller than mine, as mine has been extended. The homeowner is throwing things away though, and not pulling things out as much as he was yesterday :T They are working their way through the places where all the legal paperwork is though so its a slow job. Yesterday I overheard that they're going to repair/decorate the house, put new furniture in and the homeowner is going to be moving back in :)

So my list is looking like this:
Wed: Newsletter for work & put books out
Meter readings (to do at 10.30am exactly 1 year to the date/time from last years January reading ;)) Pay work invoice
    Thu: Order to submit
    Fri:
    Sat: No Ex
Sun: Ex here, money to DD.

    Misc:
Update/sync diary (comp & book) - nearly there.
    Toots list
    HH paperwork - planner
Walk 7miles minimum for week (Set myself a target of walking 365 miles this year ;))

    Monday ~ Kitchen
    mop the floors
    Wash the units and appliances.
Wipe over window sills and shine the taps
    Extras
    • HHI
    • Thoroughly clean a small appliance (descale kettle/decrumb toaster for example)
Tuesday ~ Living/family room, hallway and stairs
    Wipe banister rails/paintwork
    Extras
    • Vacuum sofas.. don't forget under cushions!
Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing!
    15 minutes...

[STRIKE]Strip, wash and replace bedding with one arm :p!!!!![/STRIKE] Done with two arms, and lots of swearing under my breath :p
    Got an hour...
Wipe over paintwork and window sills
    Extras
    • Dust and deweb with one arm :p!!!
I'm going to do some sewing repairs instead of ironing as there's a couple of things of DDs in there that she needs, then lunch and work.

Pigpen Dot is very cute and as for DS1, well kids, you cant tell them anything... well you can but they never listen. I had the same sort of conversation with my youngest daughter last night. Ok, shes 28 but she still knows more than me.:rotfl:

Much better yesterday - am oddly pleased with myself! I also made a batch of Toblerone cookies for my WI meeting tonight, did my yoga and wrote a blog post. So not bad going :)

However am signing myself off from today's list as will only have about 30 minutes between coming home from work and going to my WI meeting to get changed and eat something, and won't be back until about 9.30 or so this evening. I will try to do a quick S&S in the kitchen and living room before I go out though.

ETA: Should add I did a big bedroom clean and declutter when I was off work on Friday so thankfully it's mostly OK at the moment!

Not getting a vast amount done today, as Mr LW is wfh. This is because I have to visit the physio-terrorist at 18:00 this evening though, so it's for my benefit really.:o

I need to work out all the errands to do on Saturday; one thing I must do without fail is visit the bank. They've sent me notification that my fixed-term bond is about to mature, and offering me the option to re-invest. Yes I do want to re-invest, but I also want to add some more to the invested sum, and the form doesn't appear to allow for that, so I'll have to go in and actually *gulp* speak to them.

Need to get some chloroseptic spray too; mine's nearly empty, and I've had a raging sore throat for the past week.:(

The place isn't looking too bad though; I'm back to my colour-coded list, and managing to gradually whittle it down.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

What the bl**dy whaaaat?! Infuriating! I don't blame you for being royally pee'd off! What, in his world, is one supposed to do with oneself after age 19? I think by that logic we had all better collect our bus passes now. :rotfl:

Granted, though, I think it is likely to be a bit more difficult to start an apprenticeship post-19 as the government funding to the employer is reduced, but they still exist (actually, that is one of my reasons for leaving my former employer, our big cheese refused to employ a 23-year-old apprentice in a crucial job that will be seriously understaffed in a few years as the average age of the staff doing it is about 62, just because there wasn't as much funding around. Hardly a small company that didn't have the cash either. Shortsighted I say.).

Have been lurking this week ready to join next week, or maybe the week after, but indignation got the better of me I'm afraid... :o
