But you have no evidence of this. If this was sky policy then this would be referenced somewhere in their terms and conditions. You can see by googling the only restriction is you can't come back as a new customer (with a deal) until you've left for more than 12 months. Under 12 you are classed as an existing customer and so can't get a deal to rejoin (unless they contact you).

It seems quite obvious that you misunderstood and are now getting frustrated that people are pointing out your mistake.

I must admit I went back at 1/2 price (£13) , now wish I hadn't - nothing on, will be cancelling in the spring. The broadband is good though - might even be the best. No problems with customer support.
Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring

Storage hunters UK. They are all on sky anytime.

Give it a go as you'll seem some of the worst UK people of all time :-)

The Sky Broadband team all seem very nice but I've had intermittent problems with my Sky Broadband for several months. Calling them takes you through their script of top 10 fixes and when the broadband went down completely last weekend and I found myself unscrewing the face plate from the box in my hallway, I decided enough was enough and have decamped to Plusnet.
It will be worth not having a connection until January 16 (when the Plusnet engineer arrives to connect me) to be rid of Sky. I never wanted to join them, I was a refugee from o2.
