    when we bought our new couch we had the same problem , so i sent the wife home & i knew if she got through the door , then the suite would fit easily.:rotfl:

    I don't know the answer, but the question reminded me of Douglas Adam's 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency' where a character has a computer set up just to model exactly this conundrum, endlessly....
