Which mobile is best? No clue....

Hi, I'm after a bit of advice from someone a bit more tech savvy than me...I have the technical know-how of an onion basically.
I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S5830, through Virgin Media as our TV, house phones, internet are with them, and pay £13 a month. I've had the leaflet through from them showing me which phones I can replace it with, and would quite like to get a new one as mine is getting a little bit slow.
I'm certainly not going to pay more than I'm paying now, which leaves me with a choice of a few phones, but as this was my first phone after coming out of the dark ages, I don't really know which phone is "best". Depending on whether I go for 250MB or 500MB of data I might even be able to get it for less than I pay now. Currently have 500MB but have no idea whether I need that much or not.
So choices are...
Nokia Lumia 630
Samsung Galaxy SIII mini
Sony Xperia M2
I would appreciate any thoughts as I have no clue! TIA

Mostly I text, browse internet sometimes (but the one I have at the moment is so slow so I normally give up), few pictures...to be honest I don't think I use half of the functionality because I'm so clueless and have never sat down to learn how to use it properly!
(I am aware how pathetic I sound

Looking at specs from gsmarena website
Lumia 630 has 512mb ram and is a windows phone not android phone
sony m2 has 1GB of ram and is quad core
s3 mini has 1GB ram but dual core not quad core
so sony m2 is the best phoneLet them eat cake (Marie Antoinette 1765)0 -
Thanks woody, didn't understand a word of that, other than "sony m2 is the best phone" !0

M2
Although I would advise buying a Moto G and going SIM only.0 -
As above really a good solution .0

Thanks all, I think I might go with the M2 as recommended, although that will mean dropping to 250GB. Will that be enough?0

Unless your use is extremely minimal, probably not.
I'm sure you actually mean MB rather than GB?;)====0 -

Nope.... I'd recommend a minimum of 500mb with a phone like that.0 -
