Adverage speed cameras, them yellow ones that hang over each lane, infa red yeah. It was in that zone i saw a flash as i went passed the cameras hanging over the lanes.

If they dont flash then i dont know what it was.

This is an average speed camera (by the way, no "d" in average).

To answer your other question, if you were speeding in 2 sections, it would be 2 fines and 2 sets of points.

OP - at the rate you are going, you'll be losing your licence soon - you've probably just acquired 6 points for those two speeding offences.

If you go over 50mph in a 50mph limit expect a ticket.
Don`t assume, they`re switch off or you`re allowed 10% plus 2 or any other theories.
10,500 thousand here didn`t think they worked but found out different.

An astonishing 10,500 motorists have been caught speeding through the A14 roadworks near Kettering since work began in January.

There are always people here who put their attention on to peoples spellings errors than acutally concentrating on the topic in hand, its totally irrelivent.

Also people who look up my past posts and topics and bring them in to my latest topic and comment their opinions on me overall is not nessesery.

The first 2 / 3 replyes are the most helpful. The rest is just going over board and getting confusing from people who are doing the above things i mentioned.

There where no gantry cams, forget gantry cams, it was open road, no bridges where near me.

The cams am talking about are adverage speed, infa red, average speed zone. It is not stricktley just 50mph. I.e not the ones like you see in 40 mph zones or 30mph and anything over that you are likley to be flashed.

My question is pretty much ansered by the first few replyes. The infa red cams do not flash. There for it is unlikley ive been flashed for speeding in a average speed zone.

So I dont know where / what flashed at me.

    Thank you.

Always use m1, leeds to sheff

Advarage speed cameres because of road works, ive always gone through them below 50mph and some at 60 / 65 and its been ok, also seen people blast through as 70 +

Last night i went through the first one at under 50 then at the seccond set i got flashed at 60 / 65 and then flashed again on the 3rd set at 55, then no flash as i went back to 50.

how does that add up. Odd.

    Didnt even think they worked.

is it going to be 2 separate fines and points or just 1 ??

Are you suggesting you are disappointed you didn't get flashed a third time???

    Bizarre

    .

Thats about £1,050,000 lil earner for the police Christmas party fund

Its a shame that people exceeding the speed limit are penalised more (more guilty) than rapists and murders

Unfortunately for you, the appalling spelling makes your posts more memorable. Hence stitching together and forming a picture of your questionable driving skills. ;)

From what you described in your first post on this thread, there are potentially 2 tickets on their way to you. As others have said, if your licence is less than 2 years old you'll be retaking your test. Mind you, coupled with your accident history you'll be needing a lottery win to pay for insurance anyway. :rotfl:

Is the fine for rape now less than £100, what about points though?

I haven't got a raping licence so if I get caught is it three or six?
