Hi Hbex. good luck with the drs. just wanted to let you know i was in the same boat. it took a massive 16 weeks for my first AF following coming off the pill. then i had an 8 week'er, then a 3 week'er and fell on another massive 7 week'er. just keep an eye out for EWCM and ov cramps. they were my only tell tale sign. the dr also checked my bloods but said everything was normal and it was just withdrawal from the pill. GL hope its not too long a cycle for you. its frustrating :(

Thanks Keza. Yeah, so frustrating! Gonna do a little period dance when it finally gets here!
  • Congratulations Pinkshoes that's definitely a BFP!! Does that mean you did conceive whilst still living with the in laws?? :j

You definitely have to post a photo of your next test for us to all stare at! :o

 looks like it was indeed conceived at the in-laws!! Lol!

Looks like i will be migrating to the other thread, and fingers crossed get to 12 weeks with a positive outcome.

Thank you everyone, and keep up the "hard work"!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Congratulations Pink! Let's hope your inlaws don't do the maths and work out you were under their roof!

I'm 9DPO (I think!) and biding my time before doing my first test. Think Sunday morning might be a good time to do so. Not really having any symptoms to speak of - had a very slight amount of brown-tinged cm yesterday which I'm not sure about and had sore nipples for 5 or 6 days but that's now gone away. Who knows!
  • Congratulations LisaJane and Pinkshoes :)
See Pinkshoes, I told you :D The fact you also got spots as usual and now have a BFP gives me hope!

Got my fingers crossed for you!

I've been off the pill 2 years now and my periods are still all over the place, my last 4 cycles have ranged from 30 to 43 days! I was on the pill for 15 odd years though so have no real idea what my natural cycles would be, they were never especially regular even on the pill. Day 21 blood tests tomorrow to check I'm ovulating, I'm pretty sure I am though as have used opks 3 out of the last 4 months and always got a positive.

All the BFPs are making me feel really positive, keep up the good work ladies!!
  • Huge congratulations and hugs to LisaJane and PinkShoes... I nearly wrote "to you both" implying you were a couple then!

Maybe the cramps and feeling sick is actually OV, and it's so intense because you're releasing this giant bad-!!! egg, the mother of all fertile eggs? ;)

Biology class at school would have been much more fun if aileth had been our teacher!
