As predicted, AF showed up yesterday so now onto cycle 9. I'm really getting to the stage where I think it's never going to happen for us. Sorry for the pity party. Hope everyone is having a good Easter.

  • Hello all. I've ended up getting very confused by how on earth I might work out when I'm ovulation given the PCOS. Think I may have missed the window this month due to partner being under the weather and not up to much BDing. I'm starting to feel like I'm harassing the poor chap already and this is going to get really clinical. I concluded the 'sperm meets egg' plan seemed liked the one with the best results. Then I read what it was. Not sure either of us is up to that  How do al your partners feel about the whole thing? Mine just wants me to chill out but its easier said than done!

So sorry Manc, I was really hoping it was just the the Internet cheapie were rubbish.

Angel I know it's hard and 8 cycles feels so long, but if your dtd during your fertile window then your odds are good to conceive within a year. Fingers crossed for you this month.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
  • manc and angel I'm sorry. I think we all have those thoughts so it's good to vent on here.

easily my hubby struggles some months and better in others. All depends on how his work is and how busy he gets.

Afm still no sign of ov and cm is sticky. Bit worried after my two shorter cycles that this will be a long one again.
  • Hey all

So I added my symptoms (tender breasts and nausea mainly) on Friday and the FF app took away ovulation altogether saying it couldn't detect it. I really am so confused and disheartened by it all. Nevertheless I decided it was too late to worry now, I was either pregnant or I wasn't regardless of the data.

So today I did a FR and it was a BFN. Felt absolutely exhausted on the way back from our weekend away so I went to bed as soon as I got home. Got up to an early unexpected AF :(

So my cycle has been shorter this month at CD26 - the FF app is gonna freak (:rotfl:)

I'm sad but realise some of you are going through it a lot tougher than me so hugs to all and let's try and stay positive together :)

I'm sorry Rachylou. Not a lot I can say, but does that mean your OPK and CM were correct in indicating ovulation? If temping is too stressful then at least you know you can rely on them alone. X

Yeah it seems to be, 14 days ago would have coincided with a 2 day window from the positive OPK. I think the temping wasn't a totally honest and reliable picture because my sleep patterns are not great and I done it at different times and possibly after movement etc. So the plan this cycle is to wake at same time everyday via an alarm and take it, do the OPKs and record all the data but BD every other day too so we are in with a better chance. OH not away much this month so more of a chance of conceiving at the right time
