Quick post (at work)
Thanks for all the comments and helpful suggestions.
Just to note, my CM corresponds with the positive OPK and the temping does not. But the app keeps changing my date so I feel the science of it is saying the temp chart is more accurate0 -
Rachylou have you changed the settings as I suggested? You can make it select OPKs over your temps. I'm sorry it's stressing you. If after 3 cycles you find its not for you then CM is a really good indicator, just has a couple of days leeway around specific ovulation date.
Sorry you've been so ill Pink Petal. Don't worry about a fetus this early as it's unlikely to be connected to your blood supply for a while so won't be affected by your medication.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Rachylou, could always just check the disregard box, so you've got a record of your temps, but go mainly by opk and cm?0
-
Get well soon Pink Petal! I've had flu once and it was horrible, I felt really weak for ages so don't overdo things when you're up and about again.
Rachylou, throw out the thermometer! Honestly, don't bother with it if it's stressing you out. Go with the opks and cm, or don't bother with tracking any of it for a while.0 -
Big hugs to Cats and MancMama xx
Should be OV soon, thanks again Sexymouse for keeping the list updated, it's really helping me to keep track!0 -

Yes I did following your advicethanks Kynthia and have been on that since but it has still changed. I've changed it to every option now in frustration. I will check it all properly when I get home to check that I am not going mad.0 -
Right I'm home now...sorry for the wobble everyone and frantic posting...
Regardless of which method I use for charting on FF, I am getting the changed ov date from Day 12 to Day 16. I have therefore discarded the temperature for today which was done earlier than usual and I felt unwell during the night. This has reset back to Day 12.
Whilst I don't want to stress out, I don't want to lie to myself and believe the wrong thing. The OPK and CM point towards ov at Day 12 but the temping is saying Day 16. So if I am not pregnant I won't have a clue if it is because we didn't BD at the right time (Day 16) or it was just a failure and we did everything right (Day 12).
I hate that I am this stressed about it0 -

I also use the ovagraph app as well as ff for charting. Its much better at pinpointing ov than ff, I found. Last cycle ff didn't pinpoint ov at all, so I fiddled with settings which did pick up ov, but was days out! The cover line was also way off. Ovagraph got it bang on going by opk, cm and cervix position. Xxx
I started reading a book last night that is fascinating, and I thought some of you might find it insightful too. Its called "It Starts with the Egg: How the Science of Egg Quality Can Help You Get Pregnant and Prevent Miscarriage"
Its about improving egg quality, and therefore improving your changes of getting and staying pregnant. Supplements to take, things to eat and toxins to remove from your lifestyle. All backed up by science too.
As for me, I'm cd11 and I'm definitely going to ov any day now!
Thanks Little Angel - I am joining Ovugraph now and will have a look for those books at the weekend0 -

I'm sorry it's stressing you. If your luteal phase is fairly consistent, once AF arrives you'll be able to count back and know when you probably ovulated. Although fingers crossed it doesnt come. XDon't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -

Sorry for being thick but how will I know? This stuff is confusing the hell out of me.
Joined Ovagraph and that is saying similar to FF with high fertility at Day 9 and Day 12 but ovulation at Day 17 - is this a normal/okay gap?0
