Clara I randomly got to cd73 in Nov/Dec for no logical reason. Apparently it's unfortunately pretty common and doc just said I had to wait it out :-(

Had you been regular before that Cats?

I'm geared up to wait it out :( just thought i'd mention it to her while I was there anyway since I had already mentioned that I was concerned that my cycles were so long and wasn't convinced I was ovulating. I've been off the pill for 6 months now and feel like I have gone backwards instead of forwards with regard to getting anything regular.

When that happened I had been off the pill since April and getting gradually longer cycles, 32 then 36 then 42 and another 42 but I had been using opks for the last two and got positives so pretty sure I was ovulating.

Cycle after that crazy one was 42 days again but then next was 34 days! And was temping by then so know I did ov.

Defo going to start temping when i'm rid of this cold xx
  • Thanks for the temp advice everyone. Pink Petal - my timing at the weekend was about 10am (yes I am a lazy bum who sleeps late on weekends) :o. There was also alcohol involved so that could explain it. I am going to carry on but have erased the two weekend ones as I don't think they are accurate. I am wondering how I will cope with getting up earlier via an alarm to temp but I guess if I want a little one then I have to get used to less sleep ;)

Sorry for AF JoJo, sending lots of hugs and chocolate and wine!

Apple - There are all sorts of stories online about early pregnancy symptoms, some people claim to know the minute they conceived as their body was 'different'. My friend was one of them, both times she knew. However, this board is not the ideal place to seek answers since we tend to over analyse every symptom and hope it's a BFP. Good luck though, hopefully it is exactly that for you!

    Jojo sorry for AF. X

Rachylou I found the first month of temping gave the worst result and then it started to improve. Also of you go on tge FF forum you can see other people's charts and you'll see everyone has some rocky readings. I've heard ear temping isn't sensitive enough but vaginal temping is good because it's not affected by sleeping with your mouth open. I've not tried it myself. :D

sorry the witch has arrived jojo :( I'm an eternal optimist though so on the bright side you can have a nice bottle of wine x

I tested the opk's last night and again this afternoon and the lines were strong and matched so after I left work today I went and woke up OH ;)

now its the dreaded 2 week wait so have dug out my cross-stitch and un-read books to keep me occupied!

Rachy hopefully you'll get used to it. My alarm goes off at 6.20 even on Sat and Sun but after the first couple of times I soon managed to still fall back to sleep until usual time. I must be awake for 1 min max lol!

Sorry for AF JoJo. On the bright side (!) at least the torture of the TWW is over.

This is the first month I've temped properly. I tried around my third cycle and didn't manage, but I'm more determined now. Whatever time I wake I stick it in, wait for the beep then go back to sleep.

How's your TWW going sexymouse ?
