  • MancMama and Milliebob - I think we'll be testing around the same time providing AF doesn't show today or tomorrow...

I need to get better at tracking cos I just got a random reminder through my Google calender saying I might get my period today - OV pains 11/10/15?! I'm not completely sure what I was trying to remind myself of?!

How long after ovulation do you usually start your period? Could I have ovulated that late if CD1 was the 21/9/15?

Feeling a bit despondent now..... I might not actually be as late as I think.

I need to get a better handle on this! Hoping a wee DTD tonight could bring AF on if she's gonna come.....

Hi MancMama. Oh gosh - I think I'm heading that way too this month, although I'm giving up testing when the sticks run out on Sunday!

Last month, I was away so used a First Response Ovulation test, which just gave negative days and then positive on one day of the LH surge. That gave me positive ("peak") on CD13 and linked in to what I was seeing on Fertility Friend that showed OV on CD14.

I'm finding it difficult to see my own signs as I have never felt any OV pain/symptoms, and only know I'm about to get AF if I notice that I have a headache, so am more reliant on the tests for now.

Really hoping to get that blooming peak tomorrow but if not, will just have to keep trying up until my husband gets on that plane on Saturday :)

    I'll keep you updated! x

Hey MancMama, sorry you had a rubbish day yesterday. I'm having that today :( I have all my usual AF symptoms and no cm now.

Feeling so annoyed about the fact someone at OHs work has revealed she's pregnant after getting married in July- she's in her late 30s, smokes like a chimney and drinks like a fish. I'm 27 and don't do either of those so WHERE IS MY BFP!!!?

It's just totally rubbish isn't it? I have a friend who's 34 and has been trying for over 3 years and has really looked after herself - perfect weight, eats healthily, exercises, hardly drinks... yet another girl at work is 40, has twins and just like your OH's colleague drinks, smokes, eats junk food all day and generally doesn't give a stuff - it really does feel like a lottery sometimes!

Our numbers will come up one day! Hugs... it's not over til the fat AF sings!! x

    CD1 :(

I knew there was no chance this month but that makes it only a 24 day cycle when I've been used to it being pretty regular at 27/28 days. I'm not sure why it was so short this month but I'm glad I've got some OPK strips and a thermometer for the next cycle as I clearly can't trust that I'm going to be regular enough to predict that way.

Oh well, wine and chocolate for tea it is then :)

Sorry to hear that Izadora. I know what you mean - I was certain I was regular as anything until we started TTC and now it seems like I'm anything from 26 to 31 days... Grrrr. Enjoy your tea :) x
  • Hugs to everyone that needs them :)

Had implant out two weeks ago today, no sign of AF, spoke to some other people on FB and they said it took them about 3-4 weeks for AF but I'm on holiday in 2 weeks and don't want AF then!! (well don't want her at all but I know it's probably going to take us a bit longer than that as people keep telling me :/)

I know what you mean about the people that don't look after themselves and seem to get pregnant straight away, it frustrates me!!
It upsets me sometimes as well to think of the people that don't want children or don't treat their children properly and they fall really quick :(

Anyway going to finish my little rant now as getting myself emotional!!

Speaking of, I know what you mean to when you say about analyzing everything!! I'm terrible!! Everything I feel I think "what is this a symptom of?!" and we've only just begun!! Although OH is really supportive too in face he makes me take OPK's every day and keeps asking if AF has made an appearance!! haha

    Dust to all xx

Sorry to hear about AF Izadora, sending hugs to you. Look after yourself.

choc welcome to the world of symptom spotting haha! I don't remember getting much AF symptoms before I started TTC, now I seem to get it all! Not even sure what's real or just wishful thinking any more.

Ah well... AF due tomorrow, should know where I'm up to soon enough.

    Sending luck to all x

  • MacMama I seem to notice EVERYTHING haha I think the worst bit is AF symptoms and pregnancy symptoms seem to be the same!!

I suppose it is good though as I'm getting to know my body more :) like for example I never knew how much your cervix changes though your cycle!!

  • Ugh I'm having such a rubbish day.

Sorry MancMama but I caved and tested this morning and got a BFN. Got the usual pre AF spots and feeling very moody today so I'm certain she's on her way.

Don't hug me or I'll cry.
