Thanks everyone, you are all such lovely ladies and I am sending you lots of baby dust and look forward to many more BFP's xx

Will lurk here a bit, but go over to the other thread now as I got a bit darker result this morning on the other CB, and been aching and cramping so feel a bit more positive. When you've experienced a MMC I don't think you ever really feel 100% confident, but what will be, will be xx

Cuilean is it your first niece/nephew? I don't think going with the intention of spoiling them is suspicious. Is it near anything else, like on a retail park? You could suggest a girly day?
Unfortunately not - on my side, my sister produced two babies in rapid succession when she was barely in her 20s (I should take some hope from this, right?), and on my husband's side, he's the last one of 3 siblings to have a family. It's just a bit more exciting now because now that we've moved, she only lives five minutes from us, whereas we were nowhere near our families when the other babies were on their way. Family location was part of the reason we moved here - free potential babysitters when we finally get our BFP ;)

I am liking the thought of a girly day though - I will wait until the next school holidays (She's a teacher like I was) and offer to take her over there then. Thanks for the suggestion, Lulu :)

Would just like to say that the 2WW is driving me mad, and I've only just started. Why can they not invent a pregnancy test that can give a result 48 hours after BD?

Congrats to Science Grrl and Diamond Orchid! Hope you both have a healthy 9 months ahead of you.

My back is much better today, after getting lots of rest yesterday and finally taking some paracetamol. I also saw the GP yesterday and as soon as I told him we were TTC, he said there's nothing I can take, apart from paracetamol, but if it gets worse, we must hold off TTC for a month so I can take something stronger to treat it!

Thankfully, it's now a lot better. If only I could get rid of this annoying cough I've now got!

Children were all back at school today, the sun was shining and we're looking at booking a week away in August with a good friend and 2 of her children (she has 4 children), so all in all, it's been a good day.

  • Can anyone help me work out what's going on? Had watery cm leading up to and over the weekend, no EWCM and no noticeable change in temp. I felt back pain v similar to ov pain on Sunday - on one side and gone within 20 minutes. No temp rise yesterday or Monday and today, CD20, a temp drop of 0.3 degrees. Cm since Sunday has been creamy, medium amounts.

Glow keeps changing its mind about my fertile window - first said last weekend, then this coming weekend, now insisting that I ovulated Saturday. I'm so hopelessly confused - pretty sure I'm out this month regardless, but would be nice to know roughly when AF might make another appearance :o

Hope that you manage to get your sil out without raising too many suspicions Cuilean!

Sorry to hear about lack of DTD lulu :( I do understand it's a lot of pressure on our menfolk, being expected to 'perform' at the right times, but given what we put ourselves through TTC, you'd think they'd be able to uphold their end of the bargain!

Black Ribboner, have you tried Fertility Friend? I've found it makes pretty accurate ovulation predictions, and sticks to them. I like Glow, but it does have a tendency to bounce the fertile window around a bit if it picks up on something, just like you said. Fertility Friend is free, and has the option to pay for extra features (I don't). It looks pretty scientific and official, lol. It's a bit of a pain maintaining my data in 2 apps, but I find they do eventually agree. Glow is good at predicting, but FF is better for accuracy.

Hottest day of the year today, ladies. Hope you all get to enjoy it :)

  • I haven't logged in for a while, but have been reading the posts.

Massive congratulations to everyone who have had BFP's. Fabulous news!.

I am currently trying to figure out what my cycle is doing. I seem to be switching between a 4 week cycle, then a 6 week cycle and back to 4 week. Fortunately we are not focussing solely on it. Only been trying since Jan, so we are taking the 'if it happens, it happens' approach atm.

    Got fingers crossed for everyone.

    xx

I feel rubbish today. I've got a really horrible pressure in my lower abdomen/pelvic area, nausea and tiredness. I could not get comfortable last night at all so all I want to do is sleep. If I hadn't had AF 2 weeks ago I know what I'd be saying, although I can't shake that possibility from my mind.

Didn't get to DTD last night and I have no more EWCM so I guess I'm out *punches wall*

Owch Lulu, I hope it gets better for you! Did you still manage to DTD in your fertile window? Fingers crossed for you.

I'm really over today. AF must be due very soon as my baps are super painful. I can't wait to get home and free the sisters from their confines. Also sat down funny and have pulled something in my back. Just not my day today!
