Focus on how good it'll feel to be making that call to tell her it's your turn, and how much fun you'll have getting your kids together for their first meeting abroad. Perfect excuse for a little holiday. Plus, you get to go dress shopping for the perfect wedding outfit for her big day.

No dress shopping (wedding in a month, and family only affair), but I really hope everything else comes to pass!

Thanks for your support, you put things so well and it's such a comfort to know there are other people listening and understanding. Means a lot :)

I should have added as well, I am banning myself from OV tests this month. I'm going to attempt to check nothing, monitor nothing, do BD as and when we feel like it, and see what happens. It'll be really difficult!

Hugs Black Ribboner. I'm the only one out of my old school friend who hasn't had a baby, or is pregnant. Following this weekend, there's been three more who announced they are due September/October.

I've been pretty open with my family, but going to clamp down on that and stop now. She didn't mean it, but my sister asked me, "Why are you two struggling so much?"

She seems to be under the impression that you're basically guaranteed to get pregnant after the first time you had unprotected sex and can't comprehend why I'm not pregnant yet. Me and OH in the whole scheme of things have only been TTC for four months now, which is really nothing at ALL, I'm still pretty shocked she asked it.

Aileth I think people just don't realise the emotions involved. I feel really bad as I've questioned a few friends in the past on their baby making, not realising they had fertility problems. I was pretty much under the assumption that if you wanted kids you got pregnant at the drop of the hat, but I've been re-educated now friends have opened up about miscarriages, IVF and various issues. I've had to apologise for being so insensitive in the past, I was just ignorant.

Wow looks like everyone needs a hug!

Pregnancy announcements suck when they're not yours!

aileth I'm also in an OPK ban this month, simply because I can't be bothered! :rotfl:

BR that seems awfully fast for them, but if they're happy, fair enough. It's still a big kick in the ovaries, though.

I'm CD12 and had a small amount of clear EWCM, so hoping that OH comes home from work ready for BD (at 11pm? I doubt it.). I did tell him I'm expecting it every day until Saturday so at least he was notified!

Saw my best friend and her baby on Friday and it made me so emotional, but in a good way. I was holding her for ages and it just felt so right. I had been considering stopping TTC as I can't cope with the constant disappointment but this baby girl just showed me why we're all putting ourselves through physical and emotional hell just to have a smidgeon of a chance of having one of our own. Still, I get green-eyed as it only took my friend four months and we're in cycle eight.

Yes, I know it was borne out of pure ignorance, and from the look on her face she realised what she had said after she said it! We've also had it from OH's family as well, now that sister-in-law has very recently given birth, "You're next", "When are you going to have one?" Gritted teeth, want to say we're trying our best but instead smile and nod.

Good luck, Lulu. Buy a bag of rose petals and create a line from the front door up to the bedroom, with a red bull and a Pro Plus on a tray in the hall!!!

Haha thanks! I'm going to the gym after work so I'm hoping the endorphins keep me awake!

I hate it when people think they can comment anyway! My (female) manager said to me earlier "Wow, loads of your friends are having babies, you'll be next!" and I can't exactly say that we are trying but I have managed to spin some lines about why it might not happen :p

  • Hi all, not read above yet, will catch up in a bit.

Have feeling quite down today, as well as very sore and full feeling (.)(.) and the same CM. Doesn't help I've just left my DS at inlaws and he was crying his head off at me going :(

Tested a couple of times last couple of days on OPK's and got a very faint line. Drove myself mad wondering if they are evaps or not, but never experienced an evap before.

Anyway so I got a Boots test this afternoon, did it when I came midday. Very very faint pinky second line.

Just got a CB POAS on way back from Tesco and got a blue cross! Still faint but I've only just done it and I pee quite a lot through the day anyway, and far beyond first morning wee, so not too bad! I'm 11DPO.

I'm not imagining it, am I?! Hope you can see photo.
