Hmm. CD17, no EWCM, no temp change, and yet felt distinct ov pains today. Could just be backache, of course!

You know, these days I almost look forward to AF - only days of the month I'm not symptom spotting ovulation or pregnancy!

I'm on CD9 now and sitting with a hot water bottle behind my back. Don't know what I've done but I'm in agony!

Have had a cold for the last few days and had a particularly violent coughing fit this morning which is the only thing I can think of that's brought this on as I only had a dull ache in my back this morning. Can't take ibuprofen as we've now started TTC for this month as per SMEP and don't have any paracetamol in the house as I forgot to buy some! It's just about tolerable when I sit as long as I have the hot water bottle there. If I try to bend or walk it's torture!

DH is working tonight so I've asked him to get some paracetamol on the way home. If it's not better by Tuesday morning, I may just go to the doctor. Hopefully I'll be able to take something like cocodamol for it if it's not eased as I was allowed to take that when pg with DD3 and I tore a muscle in my back at 36 weeks.

Sorry to hear about your back michbright.
I've so far held off from being ridiculous and testing today. AF isn't due for another week so it wouldn't show anything yet so why I want to test I don't know! Mad! Last time I was trying I don't think I felt this desperate, and certainly didn't do the symptom spotting that I've been doing of late.

I am just the same lemon tree! I have two first response tests burning a hole in my bathroom drawer! I'll be 9dpo tomorrow, do I test in the morning??

I have really been trying not to symptom spot but its so hard. Last time I was preg I didn't really have a lot of symptoms anyway...

TMI alert, but I had some slightly yellowish ewcm earlier today which is quite unusual for me so fingers crossed thats a good sign

What is the predictions thing on this thread, do we all have a guess how many bfp's there will be this month?

Blindsided by another pregnancy announcement last night, from a good friend who lives abroad. She and her now fianc! have been together since about September/October, but decided early on they want the works together, so now they're planning the wedding and she's four and a half months pregnant :eek:

We actually went to visit her in the midst of my mc and she said she wanted to tell me then, but it didn't feel appropriate. Which actually I'm grateful for, because it's hit me like a ton of bricks and least over the phone my facial expression can't be seen I'm happy for her, but it feels so unfair - we've been TTC for almost as long as they've been together, yet she's the one who's halfway through a pregnancy. I hate myself for feeling like this, it's such a horrible place to be.

Aw, BlackRibboner, talk about a rock and a hard place. You're so happy for your friend, but it's so unfair. Now you have to smile and ask all the expected baby questions as she progresses while you battle down the path just to get to the starting line. At least if she's abroad you won't be seeing her every day and you can be selective about making contact when you're feeling strong. Focus on how good it'll feel to be making that call to tell her it's your turn, and how much fun you'll have getting your kids together for their first meeting abroad. Perfect excuse for a little holiday. Plus, you get to go dress shopping for the perfect wedding outfit for her big day.

Don't berate yourself - we've all been subject to a bit of green eyed monster, especially when the other person seems to fall pregnant in their first month of TTC, or (In my experience) makes the even more frustrating "And we weren't even trying!" statement. We're all in this together - get back on that horse/husband and it will happen
