Far from an expert in these things but wondering if your son has tried to renegotiate with the lending people? Maybe if they knew your son was looking to transfer the mortgage elsewhere, they might give a offer a more favourable interest rate.
They won't renegotiate an existing deal, but they will tell you what other deals they can offer you. Useful because there will be no legal costs or valuation fee if you stay with the same lender.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Hi everyone :hello:
Can I ask if anyone knows about eBay? If I list a item that's large for collection only, if it sells do the charges for selling on eBay still apply?
Thanks fernie0 -
hello all,
going to try and catch up on today's post.
had a very s*** day at work. the usual story with my evil hideous boss.
went to docs who increased the dose for my anti depressants. cant carry on with situation.
going to update my cv. very hard to write about yourself when you feel exhausted.
Have thought about options. Can't see it being long before doc is signing me off sick.
doctor has told me to meditate as blood pressure is also sky high.
just really updating you as feeling tired is the reason for me being quiet.
I'm sorry work and life are so crap for you at the moment
I'd say to do what I'm doing and just quit anyway but I get that this isn't an option for most people.
I hope things start to look better soon xI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Ohh QOC you really are on countdown now 2 more days:)are they giving you a leaving do when you go and maybe a carrige clock for years of service;)Seriously though I hope your last couple of days are not too stressful for you :A
My leaving do is a week later because there are people there who complained that it was the wrong side of payday. Can't blame them I suppose, with christmas as well as them not being at all MSE :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Yes the charges still apply as they are the fees you pay for using the eBay marketplace to sell your item. Method of delivery will not affect this.
You can avoid paying Paypal fees though if you get the buyer to pay you cash on collection. In fact this is advisable as if they pay you using Paypal, not only do you have to pay Paypal fees, but there is a risk that they could claim not to have received the goods (which you cannot prove they did if they collected them) and ask Paypal for a refund. If you can't prove that you sent the goods to the buyer using a trackable postage method then Paypal will refund the buyer.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...
