    Xmas Saver!
    Evening all
I'm thinking of having Goose for next Christmas.. Never tried it before and wondering if it tastes good to eat?

No offence to any gooseys out there but I wouldn't recommend :)
We still have far too many mince pies left:cool:

I usually make the Christmas puddings as it's my Nans recipe and she likes them done a certain way...this year I completely forgot to make them and by the time I realised it was to late to make any. I thought I would get one from A and modify it a bit, a few issues then arose as the one asda delivered had nuts in and Nans recipe doesn't ,I thought I would be clever and pull the pudding apart and remove the nuts.then I found cherries...no cherries in Nans recipe so out come the cherries and then I see the fruit is quite chunky :eek:my this point I'm losing the will to live and chuck it all in the food blender and mould it back in the pot :D hey presto looks the same although a little smaller:cool::D thinking to myself nan will never know :) well she never did find out as she ate the bloody trifle I made instead:rotfl::rotfl:

Fair play to you for trying to make your nan happy :T...shame she didn't eat any though - mind you, would you have kept a straight face? :rotfl:
