Apologies - rushed out to Ts before work to see if I could get any 10p Christmas items...
Unfortunately the 'power aisle' had been changed to Easter Eggs :(

But I did get an 'oinking' pig Christmas dog toy for 1p :D:D

    2lo1wu0.jpg

I bought one of these when it was 75p :) it doesn't look like that any more as my pupster ripped it to bits  :)

The toy that came with the 1p biscuits seems to be still in one piece though :)

Good news about your mum Emma. Thought of you earlier this evening as we had Christmas pudding again. Part of a large one made by mil, there's still loads left. At least I don't have indigestion this time (yet!)
Anyone else still eating their way through Christmas stuff? We had the last two mince pies yesterday.

Bizarre text from Fourp today asking when cats come into season in the new year....

    ignored it.

Kittens normally appear in March. Unsure of gestation period of a cat...

Get home & am informed that our ex tom cat (who was a stray) but now neutered Mr P has being having 'sexual relations' with Tibby Tubby all afternoon in view of the neighbours :eek::eek::eek::eek:
resulting in a bucket of water to dampen his ardour

She is an elderly lady, I presumed she was neutered as she has been around for a few years & her tummy 'buttons' are flat...

Admittedly she is fit & healthy & tubby now ....

Am I the only person who has never done a HD or C&C....?
I'm very much an instore shopper...
I know the best returns on glitches are usually done via home shopping but I just cant seem to get my head round it...and the thought of spending £25 in one go horrifies me!!!!

Having said that...I do pretty well for my needs instore without complicating things...

It took me a few years to do a targeted CIC from Asda.

I had previously sent a shop to DS2 when he started Uni, it was so horrible I would have rather had crawl on my hands and knees to Sheffield..... it was not something that I wanted to revisit.

Now I have done a few CIC and they are easy! :D:D

But an APG of £25 .... OMG!

We still have far too many mince pies left:cool:

I usually make the Christmas puddings as it's my Nans recipe and she likes them done a certain way...this year I completely forgot to make them and by the time I realised it was to late to make any. I thought I would get one from A and modify it a bit, a few issues then arose as the one asda delivered had nuts in and Nans recipe doesn't ,I thought I would be clever and pull the pudding apart and remove the nuts.then I found cherries...no cherries in Nans recipe so out come the cherries and then I see the fruit is quite chunky :eek:my this point I'm losing the will to live and chuck it all in the food blender and mould it back in the pot :D hey presto looks the same although a little smaller:cool::D thinking to myself nan will never know :) well she never did find out as she ate the bloody trifle I made instead:rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: that is so funny, but I admire the length you went to to try and keep your nan happy :A
