I don't do posh as all.

On our last holiday, we spent the last few days in a 5 star hotel where DS1 was the manager... it was embarrassing.... they fluffed out pillows, they did allow us to lift the glass of champagne to our mouths which they served constantly throughout the day....the other guess who were all really really posh even noted that we had OTT treatment (we are off fish dock! aka common as muck)

When we decided to take some bikes out about 10 pm (as we were slightly worse for the wear) we were followed by a limo!

DS1 later admitted that all the staff supported Liverpool football club (I think they changed allegiance dependent on who their boss supports) and he told them OH was a famous footballer from the 1980's and had a senior role in the club now... :D:D

Looking back it is funny, but it was very uncomfortable. We would be better in a 2 star... with the same amount of alcohol!

My little house in Granada, all log burners and tapas or Phuket, all sand and fine dining ......can't do Granada, no time off this or next month, can't do Phuket, long haul kills me X

I'm with you on the candle talk and whilst I'm being controversial I'd just like to say.....if you're going to do online shops at As.....stop whinging about how long it takes for the APG results to appear. You shop knowing it might take days. There's no point in doing it, knowing it and then moaning because As dares stick to their t&cs

i'm really hoping there are no more glitchy c&c or hd only items between now & the end of the month as i've just done what will probably be my limit there have been so many good ones so far this year :T
