What:think::think: ..........worse than massive APG's on CC goods that are rejected :rotfl:

    It's all relative

I agree with this. Its all relative. Its up to the individual.
I wouldn't use a £1.50 coupon and a £1 coupon on the same pizza because I couldn't bare to end up stood at the checkout messing about for pizzas I don't even need or want…. but free candles are too good for me to resist. I do take the P*** but all the while trying to remain relatively anonymous. We all take a lot of time doing what we do here, and it all boils down to what your comfortable with and what you can get away with.

Canada. New Zealand. The Lake District. If money was no object I would just keep travelling. :)

I quite fancy New Zealand :)

fc hope your keeping ok xx I totally agree, I am happy to take a gamble and accept the subs, would not feel right checking first but I supose we all have a different set of morals, and I know a lot of things we all do are on the line, but will defiantly not cross to far over x

I like to think of glitcing as a bit of an art. It's rewarded by the work we put in and the buzz is unbelievable. A lot of what goes on lately is not so much glitcing as an easy and lazy way to make a lot of money fast. Which is fine.....if that's what people want to do.
If you chip away quietly and slowly at something it will last a lot longer than if you take a bloody great sledgehammer to it ;)

Hope you are well Rhos :A

    Evening all

Love all the ginger cat pictures.
I've been having fun trying to give my ginger one his new tablets.First day it took 3 attempts with this syringe to get it down his throat.2nd day a bit better but got his claws in my hand.Today I thought I'd try putting it in his food and he actually ate it.
I'm not wombling much because it's so damp here and I can't take my short cut over the field and it's 2.3 miles by car.I'm not shopping much anyway in January.I've spent about £3 net so far after cashbacks so things are going to plan.

    £3 :j wonderful xx

Anywhere as long as it is warm/hot, and I can sleep for weeks whilst being spoilt rotten (but not too posh....)

    :D:D:D:D:D

A few of my friends have mentioned the sleep thing. I wake around 4am most days but don't feel tired during the day so struggle to understand how to sleep my holiday away :)

Definitely get the "not too posh" , can make you feel uncomfortable :)

I agree, there is definitely a line that I feel uncomfortable crossing

    Buy in W.

I don't normally include supposed previous prices, but on this occasion do so so that you can see them. There are cheaper lozenges available elsewhere than the Fisherman's Friend and cheaper equivalents to the Mornflake again available elsewhere. The Pork Loin Chops may be better price than A S/P Pork Chops - I think A's are generally 3 in a pack are they not? The ones in W appear to be two in a pack according to the picture on msm. If that is correct, then the price of £1.41 would work out at £2.82 for 4. Compared to £2.79 on A SP for 3 chops. I'd need to check the weight on W's - I don't have that information on msm.

Other than the Fisherman's Friend and Mornflake Oatbran price, I think everything turned out to be better priced in W (maybe S/P Chicken Nuggets would beat the price on the Birds Eye but then again that's pretty good price itself?) - the allegedly cheaper elsewhere (vs T, vs Aldi on msm) turned out to be much smaller pack sizes etc. so the actual savings that msm claimed were not made. Some of these items, e.g. the Cooked Ham, are cheaper in W than in Aldi! (According to what shows for Aldi on msm, when putting these items into the basket.)

These are the 'buy in W' suggestions. Plus everything that is on Avs W that compares vs W, maybe, if able to use 10% MyWaities discount card, except for any possible glitch and trigger items of Avs W.

    Fox's Original Wholemeal Crackers (250g)57pwas £1.15
    Cadbury Fingers - Milk Chocolate (171g)84pwas £1.69
    Coppenrath & Wiese Apple Strudel (600g)89pwas £1.79
    Coppenrath & Wiese Fruit Strudel (600g)89pwas £1.79
    Birds Eye Chicken Nuggets - Breaded (36 per pack - 720g)£2.00was £4.00
Amy's Kitchen Gluten Free Rice Macaroni and Cheese (255g)£1.00was £2.00
Waitrose Frozen Plaice Fillets (425g)£1.99was £3.99
Waitrose Love Life Pearl Barley (500g)55p (maybe been on rare slightly lower prices elsewhere for a very brief period in the past)
Mornflake Oatbran (800g)£1.33was £2.00 but Mornflake Stoneground at 63p is cheaper (maybe AvsW, or W with discount)
Mornflake Gold Scottish Jumbo Oats (1.5Kg)£1.66was £2.49
    Fisherman's Friend Extra Strong Lozenges - Original (25g)56pwas 75p
Flash All Purpose Cleaning Liquid Fresh Lemon (1.5L)£1.25was £2.50
    Hygrade Cooked Ham (10 per pack - 125g)59pwas £1.19
Essential Waitrose British Outdoor Bred Pork Loin Chops£1.41was £7.79

The Apple and Fruit Strudels have been 89p in W for ages, as far as I am aware. Same price on Heavenly Desserts Apple ones in Aldi. Some very good prices on that list above!

    Talking of yellow stuff........

I spotted this on my skip through earlier. Is it just me or is this also taking the pee??

I get ordering to add to a stash, to sell, to give away or even to hope you will get subs that are better. But phoning a store to check an item is OOS and then blatantly ordering it, knowing you won't get it and pocketing a £30+ APG??
Talk about biting the hand that feeds :(I like to think there's a spirit to glitcing and we do so well. There's no need to go this far.

Not singling this OP out, I'm sure others do it. It's just an example I saw.

And I'll be disappearing again soon so I don't care what anyone thinks :p:)

Care what I think ! there was a worse one than that. Its the usual take a good thing and kick backside out of it !
  • Ah, I'm glad I've given everyone a laugh on their way to bed. There's nothing like it is there, does us all the world of good - especially when we can identify with it :D
