I dont have a dog...but our cat has injections called program...ive no idea if they do a similar dog version but I havent had a flea for years!
Its not the cheapest of flea treatments but spread over the 2/ 6 monthly jabs it works out not much more than other treatments.
Very good if you have just one cat as it works by breaking the reproducive cycle of the flea.We also use spot on on the back of the neck too which is monthly
    Maybe worth looking into...
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Back from Boots - did ok got too much stuff but some will be for friends and 3 teenage birthdays sorted with the big s and g box set - loads around this year normaly there's none. Only one thing I was looking for that didn't have was the glitter tattoos but a quick phone call to Tiny shoes who was staking out another store and she kindly picked up some for me - good teamwork all round. was realtively civilised in Boots - no pushing and a limit of 6 of each item per person which I thought was a very good idea. I was still around at 10 am as had picked some stuff up for my sister in law and was waiting for her to come and see if she wanted it! shop pretty empty of customers by then but still lots of perfume gift sets and kiddy type make up sets and still soap and glory box sets ......

    :cough: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Don't ask me how much I spent there was just too much choice this year with so many big sets still left.

There must have been about 120 of those S & G star gifts at the front of the P**le store this morning. I had 3 at one point but put 2 back, I think DD1 and DD2 will prefer something else. Not going to say what as one of them has joined MSE and lurks occasionally so had their xmas spoilt last year. :p

I went back in for round 2 to get the glitter tattoos for Dodo but when I got home and realised how many points I had accumulated popped back for round 3. :o:o:o

Was going to spoil myself with a Ted Baker big box, carried it around for about 5 minutes and then decided to get some clothes for Teeny with my points. So good nanny. :D

Popped into Wilko too and 75% off there xmas smellies too, nice little simple minis for £1.50, looks like I missed the Vaseline tins and dove sets though.

Also 50% off some really nice wooden toys. Did not want to chance missing them by waiting I know some things go down to 75% off eventually but happy to pay £5 for wooden Noahs ark. :T

Hope everyone else has had a good day, think I am going to have an evening of tetris here.:eek::eek:

I've just spent this morning £178 at the vets.I took him for his flea jab and 6 monthly checkup. He is getting a bit thin so they thought he might have a kidney or thyroid problem. So flea jab, worm tablet and flee drops to put on his neck plus blood sample to test.

I've got loads of whiskas cat meat that he won't eat.He only eats felix.

I had a knock at the door about 15 minutes ago.Next doors new kitten(a bengal)had got himself stuck under my car bonnet.

    Don't wish to hard for a cat:D

I am embarrassed to say not far off what I have spent in Boots today, :o although Dodo owes me a little. ;)

Hope blood test results are not anything untoward sal, always a worry with pets. :A
