    Debt-free and Proud!
Cheers bubbs- nothing too tempting! That's good :)

Nanny I had a bit of a charity shop rummage and found a little bamboo corner unit. Looks perfect for bar ware etc and it was only £10! My only indulgence.

    Are you feeling better btw?

Just wondered how effective the flea jabs/drops are?

we have a nearly year old dog and over the last 2 months have a flea problem :o

we have tried lots of things, from tablets to the neck drops, shampoo, stopping her from going on the grass (sectioning the patio area off)
we've even changed from carpets to wood flooring.
each time we 'treat' her they go but then come back again a week or so later. :(

If anyone has any advice we would reeeeally appreciate it :)
fleas keep coming for months once infection takes place. the cycle has to be stopped so it may take several months to get rid of them. don't be put off by seeing fleas on your dog as they have to jump on it to get killed. your dog is like a hoover attracting them to jump on and take the poison.

Never had a problem with fleas till this summer my 2 cats every bleep in day I had tablets, sprayed the house shampoo stripped everywhere washed everything & nothing worked spent a fortune & was getting totally fed up, went to vet & got spray & tablets( u can get online but only by prescription from a vet) I'll try & did it out from garage & get the names for u they were expensive( not as much as all I did buy & didn't work ) but so worth it. Think tablets were £39 & spray £19

    From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caer

Caer (Welsh pronunciation: [kɑːɨr]; Old Welsh: cair or kair) is a placename element in Welsh meaning "stronghold", "fortress", or "citadel",[1] roughly equivalent to the Old English suffix now variously written as -caster, -cester, and -chester.[2][3] In modern Welsh orthography, caer is usually written as a prefix, although it was formerly—particularly in Latin—written as a separate word. The term is thought to have derived from the Brittonic *kagro- and to be cognate with cae ("field, enclosed piece of land").[4]

So basically...you are all right and can stop arguing :rotfl:

    Well said MissAdventure :)

I'll just end my bit here by saying I wasn't in any way arguing with anyone. No. I was just telling Emerald and David that I was right and they were wrong :rotfl:
