Thanx
Yes it's a new build (I sound such a snob!) so very un msebut after living here for more than a decade (not nice area
) we decided if we're going, we're doing it in style
I've loved looking at the show homes and it's a big shock when you realise just what isn't included. One of the house builders here doesn't even turf the garden
What sort of things are not included by builders?
I am thinking buying houses is a bit like buying a new car - the price in the brochure is the shell price of the basest model - anything beyond the basic design you pay extra for.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

We're getting kitchen cabinets and the oven and turf in the garden as standard.
Oh and walls with paint on them and floors :rotfl:
No other appliances, no flooring and probably minimal tiling too.
One developer made me laugh when one of the features included was a doorbell :rotfl:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
