The meanies:(:mad:. S/P apples are now merely 4 in a pack:(:( - and the Round Lettuce that had gone down in price to 40p seems to have gone down in size too - it certainly didn't seem as big as it used to be. Whether the price is "smart" or not, I'm certainly not getting many apples - they're almost as expensive now as buying them loose in singles:eek:. To get any better price, they want you to buy big packs on 2 for £3 and therefore pay more to them. Even then, and even when using the mbuy, the pears packs price still costs more (by weight) than the SP Pears do - so you may 'save' on apples but pay more on the pears:(.

However, I did manage to find the S/P Cereal Bars at 40p in my store and got one of those instead, although I should have got the specific one online, especially as they are not giving me as many apples.

So - buy T Eday Value Round Lettuce, it seems, if it is the size it always was. Or - :idea:it seems best now (outside Northern Ireland) to buy M's Round Lettuce - especially if this is bigger size and compare that to the lower price on the A Round Lettuce.

A seem to be putting up the cost of my shopping and being a much more expensive store. It seems they've discontinued a number of S/P items - I found I was deleting some, in the health and beauty area particularly, from the M list as it appears A no longer stock a S/P version. S/P Bandage - M stopped stocking its equivalent and it now seems A has done so (possibly some months ago) - was 25p, now the nearest I can find is a "Safe and Sound" Bandage at 47p. It's virtually doubling the cost of our shopping:eek:. S/P Dressing Strip, was 28p - it now appears we have to buy the 'standard range' Dressing Strip at 80p:eek::rotfl:. (:rotfl: as many non-Elite people would 'happily' pay 80p.)

It's so hard doing a muggles-type shop, for items we actually need as opposed to glitch items. I had to use my two highest value wombles - and, even then, was left having to pay twice as much cash as I normally do - and the shop will get very little back:(. Even then, I also had to add a Flump to the shopping to get the required number - almost everything else was just plain too expensive. Really are increasing the cost of shopping and we're getting less than before:(.

Can you not fix him up with someone? Get him out on date, order him an escort or register him on Match.com.

That way he will a) smell less bad (us men always try harder when there is a possibility of nookie) b) be out of the house more (well at least at first) c) not be as grumpy (no explanation needed) d) check that the suspension on his car is not knackered.

Yes a girlfriend is something he is sadly lacking at the mo but he very much has a "love them and leave them" attitude - partly self preservation because he knows he could get posted out again and partly because of his arrogant attitude.
there was a photo recently on FB of a very pretty blonde girl - the one that got away, now married.
I think this really got to him but he is his own worse enemy, no commitment whatsoever.

He has more leave than anyone and more pay which means very few can keep up with him - mind you he will now loose his overseas payments so he will get a big drop in pay from this month.
Several of his mates have regular girlfriends now, the ones that stayed local and never went away to uni and/or work - mostly they do nothing but slag each other off - that also puts him off looking for a serious girlfriend.

Yes he does need to be out of the house more rather than hanging around here and playing x box and playing on sky scanner looking for flights.
I am a bit annoyed this morning, son was going to see one of his mates but mate and another have gone off climbing- assume to a climbing wall - he should have at least text my son to see if he wanted to come as well.

In his favour he does smell very clean - the army drills into you a love of hygiene - I am back to doing 2 loads of washing a day and struggling to keep up :D

he is very good looking and fit but probably he has nothing much to say to girls, I think anyone intelligent would soon get bored - unless they are interested in the army, x box and Japan :D

    :rotfl:Aren't they already £2.74?

EDIT: Sorry, I thought I saw "at Morrisons tomorrow" on there - and that this was a new offer. It might even be about to end. I have them on Tvs M already - as £5.49 vs £2.74. I don't think it's very good:rotfl:. Let it end then in my view - could do with a much better offer on that!:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

SECOND EDIT: Oh, 25th January end. :(Ages away till anything better.

Afternoon luvlies, a couple of things of interest.

These Freddos were RTC in my store at 6p, went through at 25p. Was told SEL was referring to Xmas stock but this is new stock so SEL should have been removed. Over charge given but no GC. Rang CS, GC and apology on way. Seem to remember the same thing happening last New Year

Also the Sanex SEL was 3.19, in fact the SELs on all the Sanex was wrong, went through at 4.19. Over charge given for these (sa didn't notice multi on receipt ;)) plus another GC courtesy of CS.

Now here's an opportunity for HD/CC. The Velvet tissues are Reduced in my ex Netto store at £1. MSM showing 1.85 and on offer in M at 97p. I can't do it myself as my shopping comes from a DC/hub but may be useful to someone so check your stores
