Whilst today has been productive, and lots has been decluttered I can't see any difference. Which is a tad frustrating. On a more positive note, DH's first words to me this morning, as he was kissing me to leave for work were "how amazing the carrier bags were" :D all neat and folded up in a tiny plastic tube. I really am becoming a domestic goddess -lol

    Today
    For amazon trade in
    4 audio cd
    And a book
    A value of £14
(Which brings my total so far to £60!. The original aim was £50. Wonder whether i can make it to £100!! That would be amazing)

2 audio book CDs to CS
    4 Book CS
2 old books not suitable for CS so RC
9 items of OOD food - food recycling, except the raw, unsalted sunflower seeds which I can feed to the birds :)
    2 magazines - RC
    Broken candles - binned
    3 of DH's tops CS
    1 of my tops CS
4 unusable craft CDs - binned, cardboard exterior RC

My aim this weekend is to get DH to take the multiple bags of stuff to the charity shops, which will immediately free up lots of space in the dinning room :D

Today, after sitting in a charity shop pile for nearly a week, I got rid of

    A lever arch file

a pair of trousers - too tight

a book about quilting (signed by one of the authors) - too complex when I haven't even worked out how to thread my sewing machine

a pretty evening purse - too wide to fit under a coat or jacket and too insecure to wear over anything

a Russian language book and CD - haven't touched it since I bought it. I had a fleeting interest in learning another language but haven't bothered since

three body wash + scrub + body butter sets (two cranberry and one mango) - they've been sat in a box under my bed for over a year. If I haven't got anyone to give them to, then I might as well find someone to give them to.

two photo storage boxes - I bought four back in the early nineties. They were drawered boxes, the stacking sort with panels that popped out so you could display photos and then pull the drawers out to show a card index of photos.

I used two boxes before the standard photo size became too big to fit in the boxes so I switched to albums.

I've had these two empty boxes for close to 25 years. What was I waiting for? Photos to shrink again? Photos are becoming nonexistent as people use electronic media.

Someone with little photos might want them. Or maybe a fancy card index...

    Also

An OOD bottle of harissa dressing

plastic packaging bits from a variety of things

the remnants of two hair dye kits

two empty tubes from the bathroom (body scrub and face wash)

an empty tub of stain remover

    an empty vinegar bottle

an empty packet of dye catchers

an empty box of panty liners

two finished blister strips of antihistamines

And I've done five loads of laundry and dyed my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes.

    I've been busy....
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...
