    VALM - The SA at a Benefit counter told me Dallas has been discontinued - of course it has because it is lovely.

    NO! Why oh why?
    Not officially taking part until next month but managed to walk away from this months Elle mag and therefore avoided the Benefit mascara :T

    I wish I could promise that I won't buy it next time i'm in a shop but for now the will power is holding strong. Also cancelled my YouBeauty Discovery box as the last few months haven't been as good.

    I got the mag yesterday and am wearing the mascara. Like the brush and application. Was going to get another but managed to resist (for now)

    Last UU for January - 60ml Bio Oil WNBA prefer natural oils. Which leaves the scores on the doors at JAN IN 10, UU 10. 6 of the INs were a late Christmas gift, so technically not too bad:D

    I have a couple of ins

    Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Mask x 2 - these were reduced o £2.50 each in Asda or 2 for £4, compared to everywhere else they were a bargain and it does a good job on my curls.

    Yes to Carrots Softening Face Mask
    Yes to Carrots Body Butter
    Yes to Cucumber Face Wash
    Yes to Tomatoes Moisturiser

    These were all £1.99 each (normally much, much more), only the face mask and body butter are for me though.

  • TA a couple of very old lipsticks and glitter liquid eye-liners today. I'd endeavour to use them but I really have had them for YEARS (easily 5, maybe 6) so probably best to throw them out, especially since you're only *supposed* to keep this stuff for 6-12 months tops :lol:

    TA:
    Collection 2000 liquid black glitter liner
    Collection 2000 liquid green glitter liner - I can honestly count on one hand the amount of times I used these over the years so WNBA

    Collection 2000 purple glitter dust
    Collection 2000 gold glitter dust
    Collection 2000 gold glitter wand - see above, really.

    MUA blue glitter dust
    MUA green glitter dust - yup, you guessed it. Why did I keep buying eye glitter???? Even 18-year old me didn't wear it?!

    Boots 17 red lipstick - it's a bit on the pinky side and I have a much nicer Rimmel one so never use this. Had it at least 3 years now I think WNBA

    Bourjois pink lipstick - pale Barbie pink???? I never wear??? Pink??? WNBA

    L'Oreal pink lipstick - okay brighter/darker then the Bourjois one but still. Why. Why did I buy this.

    Rimmel bright pink lipgloss - again with the pink thing. I must have had a massive identity crisis when I was 22, or something.

    So that's 11 very very old make-up products thrown away today. Sad to literally throw away money but then they'll never get used up so...

    I love the Yes To range. Where did you pick up these bargains.

    I had another IN yesterday but was only a pack of Garnier facial wipes. If I'm going to use up liquid foundation I like to swipe it off first with one of these and then cleanse so I don get my washcloth full of make up.

    Let's review:

    my january PP

    * [STRIKE]bayliss and hardings bath salts[/STRIKE]
    WNBA - smelt nice in tub but did nothing to the bath water. Disappointing.

    [STRIKE]* cool water perfume mini[/STRIKE]
    WNBA - not fussed on scent

    [STRIKE]* deep night perfume mini[/STRIKE]
    grew on me - have received full sized bottle as gift.

    [STRIKE]* S&G scrub of your life[/STRIKE]
    WMBA - I've used better, I've used worse.

    [STRIKE]* aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner[/STRIKE]
    WNBA - liked the scent but frizzease works better for my hair.

    [STRIKE]* S&G clean on me shower gel[/STRIKE]
    WDBA - like the scent, lasts well and the pump dispenser is simply ingenious! Have rinsed out out to re-use with another product.

    * sanctuary deep cleaning face wash mini
    * sanctuary intense evening moisturiser mini
    * No7 body lotion
    * boots mint lip balm
    * garnier toner
    * boots essentials body lotion
    All still splutting

    also used up 3 lush bath bombs which I received as gifts. None of the them were particularly spectacular. I think on balance I prefer the bubble bars. They are certainly better value for money.

  • A final In to report for January - Avon Skin so soft dry oil body spray 250 ml, £1.99

    In my defence I've heard really good things about it as a mosquito repellant, and I'm npt far off graduated with body moisturisers! I have one full size lotion, 1 mini butter and a 1/3 bottle of bio oil and then I'm done!

    Yeah Yeah I know I know!

    Totals this month, though I have counted the razors individually. 3 UU 5 INS.
  • One IN and lots more OUTS to report!

    34) Tokyo Milk "Sweet Cream" lip balm. Gorgeous flavour but the balm is a bit rubbish, my usual vaseline tins are much better. WNBA. Replaced with a Fat Face one from the stash.
    35-37) Small hotel conditioners.
    38) Small Sanctuary candle. As no. 22.
    39) Black Phoenix Trading Post candle "Morocco". Lovely but postage far too high so WNBA.
    40) Sensodyne toothpaste (another half used tube that was lying around).
    41) Sample Black Phoenix Trading Post atmosphere spray. Very nice but already have loads.
    42) Clarins Eye Contour Gel 3ml sample. WNBA. Nice enough but I don't have puffy eyes. Lasted ages though so I imagine the full size would be good value if it's a product you like.
    43-46) Gave the White Company minis that I acquired in January to my mum :D

    Make-up:

    14) Kabuki brush. Loved this but it was all splayed and ready for the bin.
    15) DHC Velvet Skin Primer sample. Loved this, WB at some point.
    16) Eyeshadow sample.

    And the single IN:

    9) Molton Brown perfume "Rogart". Bought with Christmas money!
