It's ok but you can get far better brushes (the best I've EVER used) from Real Techniques, they're often on BOGOHP at Boots and well worth the extra money IMO.

Pleut - I second Kadison's recommendation of the Real Techniques brushes they are really lovely, they wash beautifully and don't shed at all. You won't regret buying them.

    I have a uu

Dead Sea Magik Skin Softener 300ml - I bought this a long while back for DD's eczema as it had good reviews. It is pretty much expensive vaseline and did nothing for her so I have used it up as foot cream at which it did a good job but it wasn't pleasant to use. WNBA

    I also have ins

Khiels Lip Balm Original x 2
Khiels Lip Balm Mango x 1

I opened one of the original ones and they go on like a dream and feel lovely.

Decided to TA a product tonight:

Kiehls Ultra Facial Cleanser 75ml: I can't express how much I hate this product and wish I'd never bought it! Gloopy, thick and sticky consistency which I think has made me break out in spots. Tried my best to and use it up faster but I couldn't bare another application so out it went!

    I love this cleanser!!

    I have UUs:

3/3. Cussons Mum & Me Baby Sleep Tight Baby Bath 50ml - did the job as shower gel for my gym bag but WNBA, nothing special.

4/4. Kiehl's Grapefruit Hand & Body Lotion 30ml - nice enough and thicker than most lotions but I do prefer body butters so WNB - this was a freebie GWP.

5/5. Sanctuary Relax Coccooning Body Butter 100ml - HG and WDBA once the stash is reduced.

    Still no INs!

    Another UU:-

6 No 7 Waterproof mascara - WNBA - this product felt dry and flaked off my lashes from day one. Bought it for my holidays in August. Glad it's gone.

You can also pick up Real Techniques copies from Willkos with most of the brushes being £3.00 each.

My best bargain of the sales arrived in the post today (it has taken forever to be posted)

Aromatherapy Associates Relaxing Bath Box which contains a 200ml Relaxing Body Wash and 3 x 7.5ml bath oils in Relax Deep, Relax Light and De stress Mind. This was £35 originally down to half price then I used a discount code bringing it down to £7.50 including delivery. I have lots of bath oils now and each one of these little bottles does about 5 baths when just using 2 cap fulls rather than 1/3 of a bottle as they suggest, they are very strong so 2 caps is perfect.

That, I believe, will be the last of my sale ins - phew.

  • Its so good to see so many old and new faces here. I'm sorry I have not been around for a while. (long boring story)

Christmas was a disaster area, I bought myself the boots number 7 beauty advent calendar, then I got the big box of soap and glory stuff as a gift. By new year and visits with family, I had heaps of stuff and feel overwhelmed again.

Christmas and New Year were OK, but the stuff mountain got bigger not smaller.

So here I am again, swimming in stuff I don't need but still have a strange attachment to.

Although I have not been around, I have kept a carrier bag with my use ups in. Here goes.

25ml bottle toner in frankincense from neals yard. Nice.

250ml bottle hemp moisturising hand wash from body shop. Love this. would buy again.

100ml Hand Wash in Melissa from neals yard. Expensive, received in a gift box Christmas 2013. Would not buy it myself because its expensive, but lovely stuff.

15ml estee lauder day wear moisturiser. holy grail for me, I love it.

boots mudd original face mask. 100ml, says had up to 10 applications. Well this must have been a magic packet, because I could not use it up no matter how thick I packed it on. I must have had 20 applications, week in week out to finish it, fantastic value for around £5. Would buy again but have others in my stash.

lizz earl hot cloth cleanser. like it but no plan to re purchase because I have others in my stash.

60ml bottles of aloe facial cleanser and toner from body shop. Binned these because they give me the worst break outs. I have tried leaving it a while and trying again, but it still causes spots. As it is old and opened, I chucked it out.

Does anybody else have guilt and shame over this stuff?

I am again working on my HIT LIST. Have the products I am using out in the bathroom.

Its good to be back, I have really missed you guys.

Another week of temptations, but I've resisted :)

My friend gave me a large box of cosmetics as a birthday present so I have those in's to add to my list. To offset all the IN's, I have Outs

    IN's: 14 items
Lush brazened honey face mask (free when I brought my black pots in)

    GA's:
Lush Ultrablast tooth tabs - I don't like these
    Nails Inc nail polish
    Orly macabre masquerade nail polish
    orly voyeuristic adventure
    Clinique black honey lipstick
    bourgeois clear gloss
    nivea lip balm

    UU's
Lush Creamy Candy bubble (my fav)
Lush So white shower gel (med bottle) - god I love this smell, have already opened my bigger bottle

    OUTS: 9

    Have a great week everyone
