Went for a walk to the beach yesterday to blow away the cobwebs, lovely. Took a picnic made up of what was left from the buffet.
Lunch today was buffet stuff again and also the same for tea, nearly all gone now other than some sausage rolls which will be used for tea tomorrow with chips.
A very small spend on milk and bread today, walked to the shop to save on diesel.
Paid £130 off a credit card today so pleased with that.
Cleaned up this morning so able to sit down tonight and do some studying.
I've still got just over £100 left for food and diesel till 15th Jan, might be ok with that, do need diesel in two cars, mine will just have £20 and DH's may have £30 so that will leave us with £50 for food.
I feel like it is a bit tight as I have to shop for meals for the next two weeks as well. On the other hand I am not too worried, because the Christmas shopping and chocolates came out of this months £250 so most other months I think it will be fine.
Not sleeping too well, might be due to being on the computer studying till late, I am going off it tonight earlier to see what happens.
Really looking forward to 2017 and getting rid of this debt once and for all!
I don't think I will be able to transfer £62 for the £2 a day Christmas saving for 2017 on 15th Jan but hopefully there may be a little left, I will have to think about it.
Anyway Friday night best time of the week.

Another lovely day here. Spend time studying so slowly getting on top of it :)
Went to shops, walked to save on diesel. Bags were a bit heavy on way back but thats exercise I suppose :)
Shopping came to £24.05 which I am hoping will last all week, other than bread and milk which shouldn't come to any more than £5. I owe DS about £10 for yesterday shops of milk and dog food, that should leave me with £37.34 for the following week and then my next months budget starts again on 15 Jan.
Each time I do my sums I get a oh oh feeling, but then I remember, Christmas food and chocolate etc. came out of the budget this month and it is looking (dare I say it) not bad at all, might actually manage to stay within budget.
Next month I hope I can pay the £2 a day towards Christmas spending out of it as well, but need to keep a tight rein on shopping and eating.
Today had chicken casserole, three quarters of pack of chicken, one carot and one onion, fed 4 of us. Tomorrow stewing beef slow cooked, poured over mash potato for tea. Quiche, bake pots and salad for Thursday, Mash bacon and mush pie for Friday, Chicken in batter with sweet and sour sauce and chips on Saturday and sausage dinner for Sunday. All bought so should be no spends.
Monday next week:Homemade rolls and chips
    Tuesday: Pizza and Bake Pots
Wednesday: Sausage, egg, beans and chips
    Thursday: Soup and rolls
Friday: Bacon, egg and mushrooms (plate with chips or rolls)
Saturday: Mash, bacon and mush pie (favourite)
Sunday: Turkey dinner frozen turkey from Christmas
Shopping for meals will be, Pizza, Bake Pots, Soup, Mushrooms x 2, and maybe a bit of veg for Sunday. Need to keep the shopping bill for that week under £37.34 if I still have it left :)
Decorations all down does make such a different, clean house clean mind :) or should that read, clutter free house, clutter free mind :)

Very small spend today, milk, bread, spinach, apples and stuffing. Still chuffed with food spends, monitoring the situation daily definitely helps a lot.
Need to make a payment to CC for £40 tomorrow, already marked to come out of account. Also may transfer amount in savings off credit card, don't like the feeling but will be cheaper outgoings each month, something to consider, £3062 so probably should.
Had a lovely walk to Aldi today, only one food shop nearby too far to walk to others but it has almost everything and it saves on diesel when we walk, and helps our health and stops us buying anything else because we can't carry it!
More studying done today, pleased with that.

Bit of a stressful day today. Very tired so that's probably why. Went shopping and unfortunately ended up going over my budget. I did stick to my list and only bought necessities. I'm not going to panic or feel disappointed, I will just take it off next months, this month was hard anyway due to Christmas food and treats.
Horses all OK, had to order more medication so will owe around £170 in two weeks or so.
Hay ordered for Monday so that's another £50.
Made homemade chicken balls and rice for tea with sweet and sour sauce. Managed to make 30 chicken balls out of 3 pieces of chicken, so when compared to the cost of the Chinese takeaway extremely cheap and enjoyed by all 7 of them!
Been a busy few days studying but am almost on top of it now, not so stressed.
Have written a list in my diary for tomorrow so I can tick each off as I do it, feels more like an achievement then :)

Oh well I decided to be brave today and paid £1361.31 off a card and cleared it. Some from savings and the rest from my current account and a job we were owed which got paid.
Cheap tea tonight, toad in the hole or frog in the bog as DH calls it :)
Anyway 5 of us eating, 8 sausages cut up and spread around the dish with yorkshire mix (homemade ) mash and veg from Aldi's offers before Christmas of 19p a bag from the freezer.
Homemade sponge pudding and custard for afters :)
Horses all ok, woofs ok as well :)
Busy day again tomorrow, need to made a dent in washing which appears to have materialised out of nowhere, have washed 3 loads today and the pile looks the same size!
Anyway need to go study now for the future :)

Spends of £6.99 yesterday. Should be a nsd today.
Horses all ok, allowed out today as its dry, not in the fields as they are now being rested but on the yard.
More studying done, getting there :)
Tea last night, bake pots, ham and cheese mixed up with thyme, lovely!
Dry and cold today, fresh air very nice!

Well what a miserable day! Drizzle all day when we were supposed to have cloud, hmmm.
Went to Aldi for a walk small spend of £3 ish, still very much sticking to the list and being as frugal as possible.
5 carrots going to soon be off in a bag in the cupboard, scraped, sliced and frozen
Tea consisted of a pizza, bake pots and some salad, £2.00 for 3 of us.
Cleaned up a bit extra today, woofs came in and jumped all over the place with horse !!!!! on them so the living room looks lovely!!! :) NOT.
Faced with lots of "What have we done mum??"
Anyway I love them and forgive them anything, covers will just have to go in the wash again tomorrow. It's not the end of the world :)
Deliberately concentrating on being aware of my own feelings and being mindfull. Noticing the event, stopping and thinking about it and behaving in a different way, a way I want which brings positivity.
Very easy to be miserably these days, get over it and take control back :)
