Quite a nice day today. Made cake this morning after mucking out, used powdered chocolate mousse to top them with, I didn't like it but everyone else thought it was yummy. Went shopping for dog food and some Christmas tags and cards spent £12.81, which means I am overdrawn on my daily spend by £2.77 until tomorrow morning when I will be back to £5.29. It doesn't really matter if I go over or under as long as I stick to no more than £250 for the month. I'm attempting to keep to the daily amount of £8.06 so I don't suddenly get to the end of the month and have nothing.
Still need to buy the turkey, veg and bits and bobs for the Christmas dinner. I've got some small deserts in the freezer, cheesecakes etc. so I thought I might make a triple chocolate cake with cream on Christmas day and I may get DD to make her speciality cheesecake which is yum. Much cheaper than buying desert and if all else fails I can use the ones in the freezer.
Looking forward to the 28th of the month when my first payment that will count towards debt repayment goes out, I will have officially started then, although I have actually made payments of £261.61 this month already that I'm not counting as they were made before I totaled up.
I need to collect my glasses from the optician tomorrow but they are already paid for so no more expense there.
DD made tea tonight, was already when we got back, chicken casserole,
very tasty will be adding it to my meal planners.
Priced the dogs food today £4.49 in Home Bargains, and £20 online for a much bigger bag, same amount in Home Bargains would be £23.30 and postage is free, definitely worth the saving there and I wont have to make so many trips either.
Washing Machine leaked yesterday, I did think I would need to have it looked at, it's under a repair plan so I'm not that worried, but DH cleared the filter and it's fine again.
DIL to be, made her and DS tea tonight, she peeled too many potatoes and in true MSE fashion put them in a bowl of water for tomorrow, big brownie points for her!!
Not sure what to do for tea tomorrow, will have to have a think but will be from freezer as I am not planning on spending.

Spend day today, £17.99 for DH medication in Boots can't be helped. My glasses had been fitted with the wrong filters which made things much more difficult, at least now they are going to be better, they will be ready in the new year.
Cottage pie and chips for tea, been in slow cooker all day and is tasting lovely.
Going to settle down tonight, put feet up and watch Midsomer murders with some heroes and a bit of studying as well for good measure.
A happy house here at the moment, must remember to enjoy it

Aiming for a NSD today. Hoping to stay home other than quick trip to cashpoint as straw is coming, different budget.
Must get some more studying done, but definitely feel like having a chill day other than:
    Muck out
    De clutter
    Hoover downstairs
    Cook tea
    Put straw away
    Study
Washing at least two loads to wash and dry

    A no spend day :)
    Mucked out
Hoovered with DD downstairs, settees pulled out so feels better to have an extra clean
DH cooked tea, a very nice treat
Completed a few hours studying, lots to go but at least I've started.
One load of washing and half a load dried, not good there but tomorrow is another day
Straw delivered and put away - no mean feat
Off to deliver a small present tomorrow literally a token gesture, sweets basically.
Chihuahua hurt his claw and needed a quick operation at the vets, my mum paid so very grateful he's feeling better today and more himself.
Our older lady has been up two nights running disturbing our sleep which always makes for a grumpier me and him lol, hopefully she will be more settled tonight, she's usually good as gold.
And the younger one a very handsome border collie has been giving his usual cuddles all day long, a very big softie.
Horses all ok, fields still managing to withstand them during the day, although tomorrow they will be in I should think as it is meant to be bucketing down.
DH and I have discussed plans for 2017, we both want more quality time together and big in roads into the debts, so on the same wavelength there.
Will be collecting the turkey on Saturday morning, a bit of a risk really as it is not booked, but we have been assured they will have plenty, fingers crossed. Need to buy enough to make a three sponge chocolate cake, a messy affair covered in maltesers and stars etc, for Christmas Day desert, and DD is going to make a cheese cake, both are large and made very cheaply in comparison.
Parsnips are cooked and in the freezer, veg also prepared and frozen.
We will also pick up another bag of potatos on Saturday morning so make sure we have enough to last over new year, I do use a lot of potatoes.
I need to sort out my bedroom tomorrow, put clothes away and wrap the presents its looking full of clutter which I dislike.
Another idea for me to remember all next year is to buy presents when I see them, I am useless, I never feel like I give enough mainly because I can't find nice enough, cheap things in the two weeks before Christmas when I start shopping, I need to learn my lessons. I've joined the save £2 a day thread so next years money will be saved in advance.
Anyway enough talking for tonight :)

Whole Aldi bill came to £17.62.
DH made tea again tonight and also did the horses, hero!!!
Have managed to get some more studying done today, still lots more to go but again I feel i've achieved a little bit.

Mostly back to normal today, mucked out and had cold turkey and chips for dinner.
Lots of washing done today and presents put away.
Actually studied yesterday and today as well, good going.
Hay delivery tomorrow hopefully, running a but low so needed.
Doing dinner for DD's partner and his mum this week, have got everything for dinner, might pick up some sausage rolls and some crusty bread for the evening, to go with gammon and crisp etc.
I have just had a bath and whilst relaxing it occurred to me I feel as though I can't even spend a few quid on myself. I don't treat myself, rarely buy clothes, no coffees or magazines, very rarely go out to lunch with friends and then it's a fiver. Rely on cast offs or birthdays and Christmas for make up. It's not that I want to spend a fortune but I think not spending anything at all is making me feel a bit low. I thought about me and DH having a fiver each a week, which is more than we would spend on ourselves but would be nice to have. Trouble is I added it up and it's £40 or thereabouts a month, I can't do that whilst we are paying off the debt. I think I've decided it would be better to just have what we want which is very limited when we want it until the debts are gone, that will be much cheaper.
Definitely feeling a bit low tonight but I think if we get out and about tomorrow it will help.
When the next debt payment goes out, I will feel better then as well.

A spend yesterday, not too bad just had to cater for an unexpected buffet. What is left over will be used for lunch today and probably tea as well so not all bad.
Might pop down to the beach for a walk I am feeling a bit miserable could be due to being in so much.
Horses in the process of being mucked out so will go down there shortly and help.
Just need to hoover and sort washing and my housework for the day is done, yay!
I don't think my usual direct debit for my credit card payment has gone out because I paid some off it earlier in the month, I will make sure it hasn't gone out by tomorrow and then transfer it over.
