Sorry, not around as much now, but will be popping back to update when I can.

An extra £70.98 paid off the loan for me this week, £50.98 from a refund and £20 just to get it down into the next 100s bracket for motivation! :D

Wishing everybody a lovely month of overpayments and unexpected refunds (great result Snow White!) :T

  • :j Another unexpected refund! :rotfl:

Completely forgot I had to pay a £100 deposit when I started my access course in Sept and just rcvd a cheque in the post from college this morning. :T

Need to pay £320 to verry by 10/09 to avoid £85 interest  So this £100 plus £20 I have set aside means I have 2 pay days to scrape £200 which should be doable yay!

Unfortunately I'm pretty sure that's the last of the refunds but they have been super helpful indeed :D.

  • Today I got paid from my second job. Normally I only put a small percentage towards my debt and the rest into my ISA (I have rotten floorboards in my house that need replaced) but this week I used up most of the wages and made an extra payment of £141.88 towards my Halifax credit card so that is now paid off, whoop whoop!

    £7.45 overpayment to CC:T

Well it was originally £7.34 to bring the CC down to a nice round number but then I saw that my signature had a random 11p on it! So I paid another 11p to round that down.... But my CC needs rounding down again now

Lol - loving the "rounding down" conundrum discussion. I do round down but only because I'm too lazy to work out percentages :rotfl:

Small extra payment of £3.22 today - that's it for July for me
  • Heh heh, been there done that with the rounding down! That's why my debt total is an exact figure :D.

£10 extra for me today Xx
