Hi Lucky and all you lovely posters, is it too late for me to join in. OH gets paid 4 wkly and we normally pay any extra from o/t etc straight off our 0% CC when it goes in, balance currently at 2250.00. we have amazed ourselves on the amount that we have managed to pay off since we BOTH started to focus on the DF goal. The last of our CC started at over 4k and since September we have paid off neally half. I have been using MSE ideas and inspiration for several years but OH didn't have his LBM till end of last year and the difference has been amazing. Next payday is next Friday so will be a bigger over payment then. Since starting to throw everything at this to clear it we keep looking for other motivational ideas to do more. It is addictive as you see the total coming down. Would love to make weekly payments to the card even if they are small to keep the ball rolling.Will start tomorrow, probably skimming. Welcome sugarpuss27! Agree absolutely, my OH has just had his LBM and its made a huge difference, before I felt like what I was saving in one hand he was spending in the other! His latest phrase is.. 'we could buy it....then we both say BUT WE'RE NOT.'0
