Thought I'd spotted my Mike the Knight Mission Book - but it was a Sylvanian family leaflet. How did I get those two muddled up???!!!

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
So today was a spend day because I needed more ingredients to stretch what I already had in the fridge. But I am confident I can now get 2 days out of that so hoping tommorow will be a NSD.
I'm taking my son and his friend out in a bit as it's lovely and sunny and a shame to waste the opportunity after yesterday's freezing conditions.

Yesterday was a SFD and we stuck to the meal plan, so all good there.

Spend day today as needed to do weekly shop. Spent:
£7 in Adsa on Xmas items for next years and gifts to put away inc 2 boxes of posh chocs reduced to £1.25 each (BBE Nov 2015) and 2 lovely mugs reduced to 50p each that I can fill will treats and wrap in cellophane to make lovely gifts.
    £31.87 in Aldi on groceries
£6.74 in Home Bargains for toiletries

    Total spend so far £45.61/£250.

I have stocked up on cup a soups, tinned ravioli, long life milk etc for my locker at work. We have to supply our own tea & coffee etc so I thought that having milk in my locker will stop me going out to the shops for some.

EDIT: I have also just paid the £550 towards my holiday. It's not due until tomorrow, but it means that, unless I see any real bargains in the shops near my work for next Xmas, tomorrow will be a SFD.

Calling I know what you mean. I am jealous of myself!! It feels surreal, but I just got a dispatch text message saying it will be delivered to my work on Monday. I am not back there until Weds so do I walk in during the day Monday/Tuesday and collect it, thus saying myself one of my £5 taxi rides as there is no way I am walking home in the dark at 5:30pm with a £1000 laptop in my arms!

apple I keep having a chuckle at your mission book. I lost track of reality last night and thought I spotted it in my cupboard. First I was disappointed that it was a 'twas the night before Christmas' book, and then I remembered you lost it at your own home... :o:o:o what a fruit loop I am ;)

So today I am mainly staying in my jamas. In laws have arrived & taken Jelly off my hands for a little while and I am not even getting dressed. Frankly I don't feel great so screw it. They don't seem too fazed by it, and I have given them a huge bubble squirting gun to play with on the park so all are happy!

Having said that, I need to collect a prescription and drop a cheque into the bank so I may well have to get dressed after all. Put it this way, my bank account needs all the help it can get at the minute, so a cheque, for £6.20 is a small start!

Oooh midways between writing this, the post arrived, and I am expecting £110 credit back from NP0wer by the end of the month... that is a MUCH better start ;) I've only been waiting since the beginning of September :P

    NSD/SFD #1 today :D only 17 more to find ;)
Rest of my totals stay the same.

Off to meal plan as far as I can before Jelly arrives back :) coffee, shortbread christmas trees and a hot water bottle... :) happpy!

    Hi all

Today is hopefully going to be a SFD (number 2 :) ) as I too am staying in my pjs all day. I am fighting a lurgy and need to be better for Sunday or I'll miss out on seeing my sister and won't get to see her for another 5 months.

No exercise will be done today as even sorting the washing tired me out, the dogs are snoozing atm but maybe OH will take them out later.

Hoping to do a few jobs in between resting. So far I've recycled the Christmas cards into gift tags and returned the Christmas tree and decorations to the garage. Need to do a general tidy up too.

😃 I love doing this! Just from this year's cards, I have enough tags for all of next year's presents 😃

    I need pictures ^^ :D

I was just wondering if it was bad for to cut out the 'Brother, Sister etc and use them as tags as we got a lot of 'special' cards this year from people... :rotfl: - would they ever remember their own cards...
