You should be able to sell it on easily enough. You could try a Facebook selling group, there are Linux user groups on there too, having a Linux OS installed could be a selling point! (It may be free but it can be a hassle to install if you're not techie-minded)"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0

Linux isn't that difficult and I'd take Linux Mint or Ubuntu over Windows 8 any day or the week.
I you can download the latest Linux Mint 17.1 with Cinnamon you'll find it very user friendly and easy to use. I am running this right now myself.
You can't expect a seller to refund over a change of mind, but you should be able to get a very nice usable computer with a quick download.0 -
