    Claimed my 4th NSD yesterday, I'm hoping I make my target this month. Defo spendy day today as going to Aldi after work.

    A brief respite from NSD gathering as needed a few top up bits - got enough from Mr S for twenty quid to give us two meals (coq au vin today and chicken and mushroom risotto on Wednesday) plus a variety of soup lunches plus stuff like bread flour, butter, eggs, milk, fruit and veg. That will last till next Thursday when the pay fairy visits my bank account and a big supermarket shop arrives. Having said that, it will cost less than usual because I have not ordered meat or fruit and veg, as I will be calling at the wholesale butchers who also do a range of greengrocery. That's the cunning plan, anyway.

    Igor take off that ridiculous beret and string of onions, put down that paintbrush and listen. We have got to get that polar bear off this ship. I don't care how you do it, just do it. Then you can turn your attention to the rest of the flora and fauna that Hubert seems to have collected. At last count it was a sheep, some Shetland ponies and a couple of reindeer.

    By the way, where is Hubert, our incontinent, cross-dressing kleptomaniac donkey?
