Good morning NSD gang, today the weather forecast is snow, snow and more snow. Not a "Scorchio!" in sight....well, what do you expect on an Arctic Circle cruise? (Kicks Igor)

We will be visiting some of the Baltic States over the next few days and also, if there is time, pay a flying visit to Russia ( what's up, Igor? We can't speak Russian? What about "Hopoffski or you'll get a punchski in the mushski" ? That's all the Russian you need to know......)

Now off to the Stuffyermush Cafe on deck 7 for a good old English breakfast fry-up, the food is so much better now the kitchen crew have taken back control of the catering.

Anyone know what tonight's entertainment is? I am sure someone said something about a country music band that do a cabaret act........

I had a lovely relaxing weekend and a resultant 3 NSDs taking me up to #10. Thanks for keeping us in line marmite!

I think I may have gotten a little bit ahead of myself with the in-a-row comment. I forgot I went to Aldi on Saturday. Today would make it 3 in a row if it is a successful NSD.

Surely we could give Hubert the night off! I know he's got four legs but I'd hardly call him a steed. Poor mite has chafe marks from the cowboys riding bare back.

I'm claiming an NSD for yesterday taking me to 8 NSD's this month.

After all my big talk of 2 NSD's on Friday and Saturday and making my 5 in a row...I fell spectacularly off the wagon and got persuaded to go to the pub after work for "a couple". Six hours later and I stumbled home. Oops.

Anyway, I needed sustinance the next day so a Bratwurst at the football was required. Sunday I managed to avoid spending so that's a start.

This week is going to be very tough to keep NSD's rolling. I'm playing football twice this week, need to get my protein shake starter pack, going to 2 proper football games and it's my birthday next Monday so I'm having a poker night celebration at the casino on Saturday. All in all a very spendy week to come.

That's ok, kermit, Hubert has already signed up for line dancing classes, and will be in front of the stage showing us how it should be done. That means, when the band ( and we know what they're called, don't we? Yes, the band that keeps stalking us....) do their cabaret spot, Hubert will be in a good position to ogle their stilettos. That donkey isn' t daft......

Mustn' t forget, today is a lucky 13 for me!

Message from the ship's captain - we are getting so many NSDs that the Cauldron of Doom is getting heavier and heavier. It needs moving to the centre of the ship, so volunteers please, for shifting it. In the event of not enough volunteers coming forward, it will have to stay where it is at the aft end (that's the back end, Igor). Those passengers who go to the front of the ship will have to keep jumping up and down to stop the ship from sinking.

We could just throw the 4526 crates of left over brussel sprouts overboard.

Sorry Igor, I know you were looking forward to making sprout and lard soup this weekend but needs must...after all, we do need SOMEWHERE to store our NSD's!!
