(Yes,Igor, I know that most of the contestants dropped out, preferring to enter the pie eating contest instead, and that left only you, Hubert and your dodgy cousin Dagmar as competition, but kermit doesn't need to know that, let him have his moment of glory...)
What's that Igor, your stepsister Inge should have won joint First Prize....Why?....Inge....;)
Agent Mankini....:p

Are we all here, gang? Just a few words 're tomorrow's trip to the North Pole.
Igor has been given permission to cook us all a traditional Arctic breakfast fry up, sliced smoked polar bear fried in whale blubber, yum!
The Narglehounds have their winter coats on and will pull the sledges for us. We all need to wrap up warmly and take the packed lunches Swedish Chef is preparing (chicky hurdy gurdy in de boosky) along with our flags to stick in the North Pole. Hubert, take off those stilettos, you need snowboots. All right, they can be pink and sparkly. Now let's have an early night ready for an early start...Igor will provide hot chocolate for us all to ensure a good night's sleep. Don't all rush at once. One life - your life - live it!0 -

I think I might be having an NSD today, left my wallet at home (on purpose this time) so can't spend anything. I do have footie tonight but the money for that has been allocated at the start of the week. If I can avoid the pub tomorrow night, I'm going to attempt my 5 in a row. Saturday will be difficult as I'm at the Dons game and I do like a Pie and coffee while there but that would be my 5th day so motivation to hit target should see me through!!
Do you do what my OH use to do and get two pies, not to eat but to hold in each hand and use as hand warmers? :rotfl:Nargleblast wrote: »Are we all here, gang? Just a few words 're tomorrow's trip to the North Pole.

POLE! Did someone say pole? I've got JUST the outfit....
Sorry I've been largely AWOL this week, let's just say logging off email at 10.30 is not conducive to me keeping up with this thread.
Quick round up....
WED - well I was super good, not only did I not go to the B00ts sale deciding I didn't need a thing (not even for prsents) but I went to boot camp instead :A
Did go into town at lunch, boughten gift for OH GD but that was on a gift card, then popped into boots, resisted tje wrapping paper. I did get some slippers but these are to replace ones I got for xmas which need to go back as they are split already. The new ones cost £1.50 more but I'm tempted not to count it. Thoughts?
Thurs went running at lunch so no spends as such, except entry into something I have been talked into. As its a one off, and not a 'daily' spend I might not count it.
Today it's OH b'day next week so I have ordered some b'day stuff for him but that doesn't count as it's unavoidable.
Right, it's frdiay, pass the vino ....Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Nargle,a worrying developement...I just had to rush off and get a plaster for Inge from the First Aid kit (she'd cut herself shaving her beard into some crazed form of designer stubble 'just like Conchita' :grinheart  ).
Anyway I couldn't help noticing that the BOGOF multipack of Ex-lax was missing.:eek:
Are you sure you know what's in the cocoa?!0 -
Now,this is all getting a bit silly.
Back to business - the front page is up to date, and,I have to say that we're not doing too badly. :money:
Now,who's going to try for that double whammy nsd weekend? :cool:0 -
BOGOF Ex-lax? More like Bog-on, if you look at the queue outside the conveniences.......Thank goodness I missed out on the cocoa! One life - your life - live it!0
