Do I have to say how many in a row or can I just go with the flow?

We all very laid back here,so 'go with the flow' sounds just fine. ;)
So, Igor, you suggested to marmite that we go on a cruise in January to escape the harsh winter weather? Nice.......And you went and booked it all at the travel agents? Show me the brochure......hmmmm, what was marmite's brief, exactly? Lots of lovely sun......hmmmm.....

So, you are smirking away like a smirky thing because you pulled out all the stops and got us a cruise to a place where the sun shines all day and all night? As in the Land of the Midnight Sun? Taking in the rugged beauty of the Norwegian fjiords and the volcanic landscape of Reykjavik?

IGOR YOU BERK!!! You have only gone and booked us all on a cruise to the Arctic Circle!!!!!

You had better get down that travel agent's now and change the booking, before marmite finds out, she is not going to like this, and you know what she's like when she's got one of her moods on......

I think that whale watching was a bit of a clue too.......:eek:

'and you know what she's like when she's got one of her moods on....'.I beg your puddin!!!!!!!!
My middle names are Sweetness and Light, thank you very much.

marmite stalks off too, also kicking Igor on the way out....

So, marmite, has Igor got back from the travel agents yet? Are we stuck with the Arctic Circle cruise, in which case it's thermal knickers time, or did he manage to change it for a hot weather destination, in which case it's thongs away........No.pressure, but we need to start packing as we set sail tomorrow....

Hi everyone . Well it's New Year's Eve so why not get back on with the NSD challenge? Despite my badge I'm back after a couple of years wanting a spot of motivation to budge some debt. I'm hoping not to spend until that elusive January payday, but I need smaller goals along the way, so may I sign up for 5 NSDs?

I've managed not to spend anything since Monday 22 Dec, not counting direct debits. Mondays will be spend days as I need to get my train ticket for work :)

    M&S £2878.22/ Natwest £3526/ Loan £405/ [STRIKE]Sofa £0[/STRIKE]/ [STRIKE]Ring £0[/STRIKE]/
    Savings £12.04
    NSD 3/10
    Total £6915.88

  • I'd love to whale watch as long as I don't spend, can I join you please? I would like to spend no money but I know this is impractical so can I go with 15 nsd please, I will try for more but I need to get myself organised!! I have a new spending diary and I want to use freezer and cupboard goods as much as possible, oh and I won't be counting dd's as these go out on all different days and are all bills like council tax etc. So here goes, next step is trying to meal plan longer than 2 days!!!!!

    Thank you

Welcome to all of the newbies. :wave:It's great to see so many of you,and a few 'oldies' back again.

Now,just to straighten out the rules.....It is possible that you might have been a wee bit too eager to nab all those lovely nsds, and you find that your target is just out of reach.Well, there's no shame in that,so don't let it stop you posting.Every single nsd nabbed, grapped, knocked on the head and slung into 'The Cauldron of Doom' is a bonus! :j

The one thing, however, that will not be tolerated (:eek::eek::eek:!!!!) is use of the 'F' word (f-a-i-l).
Any and every use of that naughty word means that manky kippers are back on the menu, and Igor will be lurking round the corner, behind the sofa and under the bed with a soggy paintbrush or two!! You have been warned.....

The best thing about this challenge (and you,ve picked well. This is 'The Best Challenge Going'. :j:j:money::cool:;)....You make your own rules. :)

And just to fill you in on the NSD gang. Our official residence is The Ennessdee Towers. It might get a bit squashed on the sofa, since there's so many of us,so if anyone has a spare beanbag or armchair, please bring it along.
We have a Chef, who goes by the name of Igor.He has a very particular cooking style (inedible - but don't say that to his face.He has a lot of sharp knives on his person, and cooking for him is a labour of love).

Our Head Chef and Fairy Godfather is none other than The Swedish Chef, whose favourite dish is chickychickychicky with da boomboom. :rotfl::rotfl:,so I hope that you all like chicky. :D

Hubert,an eager to please, incontinent and pink'n'sparkly obsessed, high heel wearing donkey is our general dogsbody,so please be nice to him. :)

Please bring your own teacup,so we're running short.Igor has a few spare antique chamber pots going, but I've told him that on no uncertain terms, that these will not do...he's a bit hazy on things like this.

He's already stressed out by all the new faces, and all the people wanting tea and coffee,so that's precisely what you'll be getting,in the same mug, that is. :p

So,enough waffling from me.I need to update the front page. :money:

PS It can get a bit silly here, which is encouraged,so don't be shy. :T

  • Unfortunately my father has terminal cancer and it's looking like he'll pass away in January so I'm not going to count any expenses/spending related to the funeral either.

(((Helga))) I'm sorry to hear about your Dad.I hope that he's as comfortable as possible.
  • So, marmite, has Igor got back from the travel agents yet? It looks like it's going to be 'thermal knickers'...quick Knit Witch, get those needles flashing. Two pairs a head, stat! That's 'everyday' and 'best',if you must know! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
