It's not sad at all. You've got to start at some point (if that's what one of your goals is),so well done! :j:jscotmumof3 wrote: »No NSD for me today as DH took me to Tesc* and decided he "REALLY NEEDED" diesel cleaner for the fuel tank in the car ???? We were there literally as the shop was closing and he still managed to sneak in a spend
Do you include all his spends as part of the challenge? Surely,it was his decision to buy it,not yours,so why count it?zafiro1984 wrote: »Oops was meant to be a NSD but had to dash to Mr S as DH announced at 11.30 that I would have to feed an extra two people. So far just 1 NSD.
Emergency spend?0 -
2 done, I am a bit raging that I need milk today, otherwise nothing so I might switch to fruit tea incase I buy kitkats or something LOL
A lot of us don't count milk as a spend. That way, when you nip out to get the milk, you won't give in to chocolate or crisp cravings, because that would be a spend.Bagged NSD number 2 yesterday which also means I have achieved the first in my in a row challenges
If I can get myself organised, the weekend should be a total spend free one but we will see
The first 'in a row' winner! :j:jRoundthebend wrote: »Not sure whether to count today... Hubby got his hair cut this morning (only time he could get it done at the cheapest place around before work on Monday, and his job requires that his hair is cut so not a luxury) I had given him the money out of my weekly cash budget when I did my shopping on New Years day (and I also counted it on that budget on my signature too.)
I'm torn 50/50
We have spent money today, but it was a budgeted for and money set aside out of the budget knowing that it had to be today. Gah.
Could the haircut be an emergency spend,so not count?0 -

I called a NSD as soon as I poked my nose out of the door to walk the dog - far too cold. As a result of me being cold and sorry for myself the poor dog only got a short walk and is now restless, so I'm going to have to take her out again in a bit. I have just lit the fire and was hoping to spend the rest of the day lounging about in the warm with a book *sigh*. I should have been made of sterner stuff this morning and walked her the normal route!
NSD 2/15 for me today
Did you make it out the door?I have visions of the wee dog with its back paws tightly crossed...butterfly2507 wrote: »I am proud to declare 3 NSDs and 3 in a row :T Great start to the new year!
