second NSD of the month today
  • Also hope you are OK, Knit Witch - sounds like a bad fall if you ended up in bed.

I called a NSD as soon as I poked my nose out of the door to walk the dog - far too cold. As a result of me being cold and sorry for myself the poor dog only got a short walk and is now restless, so I'm going to have to take her out again in a bit. I have just lit the fire and was hoping to spend the rest of the day lounging about in the warm with a book *sigh*. I should have been made of sterner stuff this morning and walked her the normal route!

NSD 2/15 for me today :)

NSD number 3 for me, and third in a row. Did a big food shop, but the other half gave me his card to pay for it all and definitely have more than enough food in now to last...I suspect we'd even survive a zombie apocalypse with how full the fridge is!

I don't really like to declare an NSD until midnight has past, since I do a lot of shopping online. I seem to spend half of each dy convinced that I need to purchase a particular thing and the the other half trying to talk myself out of it. In fact, maybe it's closer to 85% of each day desperately wanting and the 15% trying to resist spending.

So I will wait till midnight has past before I declare today an NSD, though I hope it will be one.

Though frustrating, it helps that some of my online shopping baskets eject my items when I leave their site. It makes me cross, but it makes my bank account happy, no doubt.

  • I was going to go shopping today but haven't in the end, so this is my 3rd nsd and 3rd in a row.

I did do an OP on the mortgage today, but that doesn't count as spending in my book as the nsd's are to help be mortgage free amongst other things.
