BPA have advised they are a member but not the Approved Operator Scheme with regard to parking charge notices. They have also advised they can investigate evidence of a possible breach of any of the points raised in the Code of Practice. Feel soo angry, if they obtained my sons personal details illegally. The charge notice is in my sons name. Really getting to me now, all this. Feel angry and protective of my son and want someone !!!! kicked for it, but still have this charge hanging over me. Should I write to IAS or just leave it now?0

For the umpteenth time, they haven't obtained your son's details illegally. You are going to get nowhere with this if you can't grasp that point.
They are members of the Independent Parking Committee's Accredited Operator Scheme: http://www.theipc.info/#!aos-members/cv75
According to the negligent and corrupt DVLA (aided and abetted by the spineless ICO) this gives them "reasonable cause" to access your son's details, so you are wasting your time bandying allegations of illegality.
Only you can decide whether to appeal to the IAS, but if you do so you must do so in the knowledge that your appeal may well be rejected in a sarcastic and cavalier fashion. Some of us would see getting such a rejection as your objective, because it can be a springboard for spraying out further complaints in all sorts of directions, but it's you who would need to make these further complaints.Je suis Charlie.0 -

Ignoring G24 is a plausible course of action, they've never taken anyone to court.Je suis Charlie.0

You can go down the ignore route, but the letters will continue, if you want to get the wheels rolling with regards to not letting the scumbags win you over then you could go for an IAS appeal, fully expecting to lose and then as above from that use it as a springboard for further complaints.
Every ludicrous IAS rejection is useful - you can always go back on the ignore road should you wish to do so.From the Plain Language Commission:

I agree, I'd like to see the IAS undermine itself by issuing many, many of its ridiculous rejections.Je suis Charlie.0 -
apologies. Quite stressed with it all. My decision is, I'm ignoring all further correspondence from them. I have enough going on in my life as a carer/mum of a disabled child, to let these scum bags win me over. Thankyou for advise.
Absolutely ignore G24 - they won't do anything BUT you really should use the details in post #23 to hold the owners to account."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
the thing is you can just ignore, or you can do somethng that may be of use - I was stung once by a PPC ( paying an "ealry bird " discount )
the next time i received a ticket i turned to Google and then onwards to sites like this one.G24 do not own that land. Brockton Pradera Retail LP own it. I would imagine BPR hired G24. Therefore it's time to go all guns blazing in to the CEO of BPR.
Their actions appear to fly in the face of their Corporate and Social Responsibility policys, the only way they could possibly comply with those is with the immediate removal of G24 and any other PPC from their land - a temporary solution would be to place bags over the cameras and remove any PPC employees

I agree with all those saying complain to the landowner. I can quite understand why you don't want to use the useless IAS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

RESULT! After emailing gym head office and complaining of their lack of customer support on this matter, I get an email. I have spoken with the landlord who has agreed that we do not want to penalise you for the use of the gym, and that we will cancel the ticket for you.
I never intended to pay, but to have it cancelled takes the stress of receiving threatening letters from them away. Thankyou all0
