[/I]So I opened a case in the help centre and this is what I got

Thank you for writing in. At this time we are requesting that you verify your account by government issued ID. We apologize for this requirement. Please provide an attachment of a picture of an ID showing name , picture and address. You can cover or block out any sensitive information on your ID, as long as we can see your picture, name and address. The photo copy will be stored on our secure system and be accessible only to our Compliance Department. We will promptly delete the photo after we review it

I'd suggest posting on the Swagbucks UK Facebook, they are more likely to understand that this form of ID isn't widespread in the UK - apart from on a driving licence and most people wouldn't dream of giving a copy of an ID document to anyone other than perhaps a solicitor or bank official - and they would need to have a very good (legal requirement) reason to request it.

BTW. you 'can' photocopy the photo page but the copy must be in black and white, not colour.

Maybe the UK Swagbucks team will understand that and either leave the postcard system in place or sort out the mobile phone verification so that it will work with UK mobile numbers.

Does that fix the app problem- if you reinstall them? I can get 4 of 6 to work. Luckily I got a 40sb gold survey.

    thanks - I got 8sb !
  • I got that too, and completed it.
    It mentioned an 'incentive.'
But I didn't get any swagbucks - wondering if I should be bothered as I had SB (I think) for original survey plus the 2 flakes :)

Don't waste your time on the Angry Birds film survey. Just wasted 20 mins completing it, only to be screened out at the very end. Seething.

    that's Ugam, isn't it?
When I clicked on that I saw it said 'Angry Birds' in the address bar of my browser - but it DQ'd me immediately - without the usual opener questions that always lead to me being DQ'd, so I didn't mind that.
BUT, I really wonder, if *anyone* has ever completed and been credited for any of their surveys :exclamati:question: (which can turn up on any section of SB).
I did a search on them once and their location did not surprise me.
I am not saying they are a scam - but....
