    Hi NotaUKPCfan,
Do I understand that you received a windscreen ticket and that the registration number on the ticket was incorrect? And that you have filed an 'appeal' on the UKPC site, admitting you were the driver; but have you given them the correct registration, or your name or address?
If they don't have your details, then they won't be able to track you down, and I would then say don't have any further contact.
But if they do have your details, then they will just harass you regardless. In this case, a letter of complaint to Savills should yield results.
And as others have noted, UKPC don't have a track record of successful SSC action in Scotland, although they recently tried their luck, but pulled out at the last minute.
    good luck,

That's got hee haw to do with my correction. If you get court papers in a small claim in Scotland you get a summons. Criminal paperwork is a citation.

But it has everything to do with the context of this thread!

So the onus is now on you to provide a verifiable example of a summons that went the distance (win or lose) ever being issued by a typical PPC in Scotland. The aforementioned UKPC chicken-outs will not count.
  • And as the Lay Rep rules in Scotland are very easy, a BMPA rep should be available in any (but not necessarily every) case.

    Hi Primeau
That is the case exactly. I outed myself in ignorance and have had two letters so far, but with the wrong reg number. I of course have not made them aware of their error in the event I do end up in small claims court. I am encouraged by your situation with writing to Savills and will try that vein this week. Many Thanks.

  • I have just now received my first DRP (Debt Recovery Plus) letter of intended court action if I do not pay up.

Just adding details as they come for those who are curious as to the process that UKPC follows.

Thanks, but there is no need to fill us in on the UKPC process, we are all too familiar with it, as per the link in post #8 of this thread - read it and see how many more letters you are due.

Glad you enjoyed it, whilst it may have been written in a tongue in cheek style I believe it is reality. Now sit back, relax and ignore UKPC & their cohorts with impunity like the 10's and possibly 100's of 1,000's who have done so already.

I have just had a ticket from UKPC at Gallagher retail park. I forgot to put a ticket on my car. I was only in M&S for 30 minutes. Having read all the other posts I would ignore this demand but my problem is I have a lease car. Can anyone advise me about this please?
