Why can't I get my photo to appear? I've copied & pasted the URL & all I get is the 'picture' logoSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

She's gorgeous, Silva. I'd never want to put her down.

Wow, Silvasava your cat looks fluffy. So comfi in the sewing box.
Our dog loves adult DD's feather bed and v pillow. The dog has x2 beds of her own. A toy box and food station.
Today I have been dancing with Dyson. Snapped my mop when washing kitchen floor.
Always laundry. Putting away/ taking off the airers, washing machine on. New stuff on airers to dry. Ironing board out to do a small amount of ironing.
Feet up on sofa to watch some tv wile knitting.
Then onto dinner to cook and wash up.
Nothing exciting then?
Yesterday DD took me to a craft show. Lots of Hm things. Just like the sewing and baby knits I do. So many people like us were just out for the afternoon and just looking.
We thought the price asked was to high for many sales.
THe stall holders were quite happy to chat. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Hi folks
Am on hols here with my good friend who looked after me when I broke my leg last summer and pinching her internet!! :-)
Weather here quite rainy but it has cleared up sufficiently each afternoon so far so that we have been able to walk along the cliff tops (yesterday) and around Charlestown (where both the new and the old Poldark were filmed) today! I remember the old Poldark - I even was in one of the crowd scenes as an extra when I was a teenager here (being as I was in the local drama group!)
Well, my friend is still doing here Sl!mmin World and doing really well - only 6lbs to target! After that she wants to try for another half stone but she has already lost 1 and 1/2 and is looking great - bless her! This is very MM&M because both days we have walked towards rather lovely tea shoppeis and said 'Well, we could eat here but it would wreck our diets. So we will go home (back to her place) and have a money and a weight saving cuppa and a saffron bun (no butter or jam) instead!! (well its better than cakes ooozing with fat and sugar!) We are going to spoil ourselves though on my last day - at a fab restaurant in St Ives whos food is wonderful and there are low cal non creamy sauces and fish etc which will be very delicious!
Am having a great hols - thanks, once again to my dear friend! Must sign off now and go to bed as tomorrow we are going to pop in and see her Mum (who is very dear to me! And was one of the people from whom I learnt to bake!)

Morning money savers.
A lovely sunny start here in Hampshire.
Making do = put the empty Arial gel bottle in with the washing in machine for a rinse out. Then recycle bin.
Trialing some general use cleaner - transferred the liquid to a squirt bottle from screw lid bottle.
This will stop any waste and it coming out in a rush.
Cut the toothpaste tube in half this morning to use last time.
Just going to look in the freezer to see how many dinners are there before going to the supermarket for essentials.
I had an Approved foods delivery on Friday. That will help with the food bill over the next few months.
Craft is knitting a blue baby cardigan. Can't help thinking I am knitting for my own pleasure as I never see babies in the cardigans I have given.
Spent ages knitting MIL a beautiful mid blue cardi last year - have still not seen her wear it when we visit. Hmmmmm. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0
