    We have a candle burning.
    We are reminiscing, we may be daft.
    We drank a toast to Dad.
    We are strong. We will make him proud. Well he always is proud.
    I am the luckiest girl in the world.
    My Dad is loved by all.
    I know we all say that. But he was an exceptional man, with a humble beginnings, who had the highest security clearance in the RAF that there was in his day.
    He will be sadly missed. But hugely loved and never forgotten.

    Have a drink to William/Bill, never a bad bone in his body, a family man, a proud man. The best.
    When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

    ETA: It's probably the last thing to concern you at the moment, but might it be a good idea if someone [your brother maybe?] 'phones the caravan dealer to cancel Dad's contract for a new 'van?
    From personal experience, caravanning is great for a retired couple but just doesn't work for a bereaved widow.

    I asked someone to do that this morning.
    I seem to be very focused at the moment, and what I haven't done my daughter is.
    When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

    So sorry to hear your sad news Mooloo. Thinking of you and all your family at this sad time.

    I lost my beloved Dad very suddenly in 1987 and I know what a shock it is to lose them so quickly without warning.

    I am so sorry to hear about your Dad Mooloo, and even though he's been in hospital briefly it must be a huge shock and hard to believe.

    So glad to hear that, I was wondering earlier in the week whether to suggest that someone should phone and postpone delivery of the caravan! Never had the thought while I was actually sat at the 'puter, only when I was thinking of you all.
