Does anyone know if yoghurt is good for the complexion? I've just decanted the yoghurt out of the flask into the pot and it exited the flask with a satisfying *plop*, whilst simultaneously managing to splatter me from head to foot..... :rotfl:Cheery_Daff wrote: »So impressed at your ability to have a brill holiday on a budget :j what an inspiration! :j
Well, we do self-cater, and I fully realise that that can be many people's idea of H3ll on hols, but I'm happy to cook - especially if it means that we can have a slice of cake and a coffee in a caff, it adds to the *treat* element for usAlso, we did a lot of walking and cycling, which for the most part is free. We did have to pay out quite a bit for car-parking the one day, but a) I knew about it and built it into the budget b) it was the first time we'd been to that particular location and c) we found out that we could park for FREE a couple of miles down the road - so next time we go, we'll make alternative parking arrangements
Plus, we were so lucky with the weather, on several days, I honestly cannot see how different it would have been if we'd have been in the Canary Islands - apart from it would have been windier on the islands

For INOD.......
As you can see, the £1 chocolate cake recipe yields at least 9 buns - probably more if you are aiming for a smooth top to enable easy icingBut I literally had 9 cake cases left, so in the mix got shoved! The choccy bunnies were 39p a bag from h0me bargins..... and yes, there are usually 5 in a pack.....

beanie, love, thanks so much for making the time to pop into 'mine'. I know you've had a fraught time of late - no lesser than today. Bless you and here's hoping for peace and release for your friend.
Upsidedown Bear - I'm clearly not up with the times, I see a little dark box wif an 'X' in it  yer welcome to vote fer me 'eat cake and keep calm party', we'll have a bash at getting the nation's budgets in order, eh?
I'm currently waiting for DP to come home. He has had a bad dayBut most certainly 'OK' in the grand scheme of things - nothing bad, just a series of things going wrong, when it would be helpful if some of them went right
I'm hopeful that a 'bunny bun' will at least lift his spirits a little.....
