For the longest time now i've been considering Dropshipping on eBay.
I've found many Dropship suppliers, however it seems the majority either have out of date lines, poor quality products or for the few that do have decent products the margin left in the sale is minimal.
So, i'm asking a genuine question with the hope of a genuine response.
Does anybody on here actually make a half decent income from Dropshipping (in particular on eBay)?
Is the time vs reward trade off actually worth it in real life terms?
Would love to hear any thoughts on the subject.
I used to make a fair bit by buying bulk then re-packaging into smaller purchases but you know what? It's sooo easy to do that whatever becomes a success is instantly mimicked and undercut by the MFN brigade.
To a certain extent, I still do this ! Sadly, it does not involve eBay in any whatsoever.0 -
Harry, you aren't allowed to advertise here.ally.0

Hi,
"undercut by the MFN brigade"
What is MFN? I always thought "Most Favoured Nation", but that does not look to apply!

Hey guys! so I came across a little way to earn a few quid without doing much at all plus without using any money.
Its called dropshipping. For those of you that don't know what it is;
Dropshipping is when you resell a product you source at a cheaper price and put your own margin on top.
For example:
- You find a wholesaler/manufacturer that are willing to ship its products on a per order basis
- You advertise the product on your website with your added margin
- Customer finds the product and buys it
- You use the money to pay for the product at wholesaler/manufacturer
- wholesaler/manufacturer sends product to your customer
- You make a profit
Now for me it was hard to actually find a wholesaler/manufacturer that doesnt charge a fee to have access to their inventory plus managing a website its a extra task Im not willing to do. But after research here's what I done to make a some extra cash without wholesaler/manufacturer or website.
Here what you'll need to start;- amazon account
- ebay account
- paypal account
Step 1: Open amazon account
Step 2: Open ebay account
Step 3: Search on ebay for products that you think would sell, Good tip is try go for everyday items like bags, cups, mirrors anything you would buy to be honest.
Step 4: Once you find a product you like search for the same product on amazon
Step 5: Compare the price, a good margin will be around £5 to £10. If you sell with anything upwards then your on to a winner and keep that product to yourself. no one wants competition.
Step 6: Go to ebay fees calculator and see how much you make after ebay fees
Step 7: Post the item on ebay which is free, copy and paste product images from amazon. If you can under cut competition thats good if not then don't worry just post anyway you will still end up selling if not you can always change doesnt cost you a thing.
Step 8: Make sure you add any postage fees in price or ebay listing good tip try go for products that are over £20 on amazon because its eligable for free delivery.
Step 9: Once the product is listed just sit back and wait for someone to buy make sure you keep a eye out on your account. Try download the app if you have a smartphone.
Step 10: Make paypal account.
Thats it! Once someone buys the product, the monies is sent straight to your paypal so you get paid first before you actually use any money. In some cases you can actually use the money from your paypal to buy the product (aged paypal accounts)
So there you go guys thats how i make a few extra £££ a month
Let me know if you don't understand anything and i'll explain further.
And if you liked this thread share some love.

Amazon fulfils the order.
If theres something wrong with product again amazon refunds or replaces product.
That will be the only 'work' you have to do is research products.
I'm doing it and it pays well0 -

Alot of people tend to think ebay has better bargins than amazon when its the other way around.
Its called 'show rooming' if you make atleast £2 per item and you sell 10 within a week thats a extra £20.0
