10p roadkill found outside my climbing centre today, as well as an apple and banana that my climbing partner was going to throw away because he couldn't be bothered to carry it. They will do me for snacks at work tomorrow :)

I found lots of change in various places last night, including 2 or 3 pound coins. Must have been about £5. I didn't have chance to count it properly.

    Unfortunately, I woke up!!

No, seriously? Wombling in my dreams? Anyone else had this?

Plenty of times, and for large amounts as well, in road kill terms though.

Well I think I won the saddest person award myself on Monday morning when my first thought on waking was about using up the half bag of kale that is sitting in my kitchen fridge draw. It was really troubling me:rotfl:

It's an attitude of mind. If you value small amounts then you will respect money in general. Take care of the pennies...
    ...and waste will be anathema!

Gerry - what a great way of putting it. You are right. Look after the pennies and the ££s will look after themselves as they say.

Today I got £2 in tips, mainly courtesy of an American who was leaving the UK today and just said I could have his change. His next stop was a ferry from Dover to France.

    Well done Gerry!:T

Today has been an excellent day for wombling. Despite the shocking weather.

    1. Found £1 coin on my cycle home
    2. 12p brand match coupon
    3. 10p earned loading 2 reciepts to COS
    4. 50p in the change draw at the self service till, all in mixed coins. How can people bear to lose that much by laziness?
    5. Came home to £6 in cheese vouchers for Mr T. As am spending 1 today the £3 one I am only including that in today's total.
    6. Editing my post as I went to Mr T with my £3 voucher and instead of buying one of their Finest cheeses I bought Cathedral City which their staff member ok'd at the self service till. I then claimed 50p cashback from Shoptize for buying this brand. And wombled 2 reciepts worth 15 points at the same time. Have loaded one up to COS for a further 5p.
    7. Spotted 2p roadkill as we walked back from the shop.

Out of interest how many people would like me to run this as an actual challenge for 2016 with contender numbers like the other challenges? I am delighted to have had so many fellows emerge on this thread this year.
