I'm up to £4.24 which the 5p offer has contributed a lot to. I am probably fuelling a stereotype so forgive me but did you see Iron Bru and the sugar free equivalent are 50p cashback at the moment? Surely all Scots live on that stuff:rotfl:

    Hi all
Not a massive day but I found 7p, picked some blackberries , had 12 Mr T points added on that I'd nabbed at self service machines & made 5p on COS.

So the total rolls up still.

6p on the way home from work on Wednesday, 1p roadkill yesterday and 5p roadkill this morning. Oh, and if were including foraging, 2 massive tubs of blackberries that are now sat in the freezer :)

    Today's wombles are goooood!

    1. 10p for uploading 2 reciepts to COS
    2. At the supermarket claimed 10 nectar points from a forgotten reciept.
    3. At the checkout, one of my items had no bar code. The lady therefore sent a colleague off to get me a new item but in the meantime totalled up my shop and I paid. I got a £1 brand match voucher right then. When the colleague returned I was able to use the £1 to pay for half the remaining item :)
    4. Pets at home sent us a voucher for a free 50g pack of Whiskas Dentabites which would have cost £1.38 so we claimed those today.
    5. I used my C*sta points for a free Americano, would have been £2.20
    6. This one is the Don, I needed a new trowel as mine snapped at the neck when I was last weeding. I have also been considering some new lavender to fill in some gaps in the border. New trowel £3.12. They wanted £6 per lavender or 2 for £10. I thought no chance. Wandered around to the reduced plant area and hit the jackpot. I came away with 8 hidcote lavender for 50p each!!!
    7. Found a 10p coin
    8. 3 large tubs of blackberries full and waiting to go into cakes :)

    All together I think I saved/didn't spend £52.78 today:eek::T

    Bob

P.S Linz - blackberries definately count. They are free food. If you go into a supermarket a punnet of blackberries is about £2. I haven't put a monetary value on them in my post but I could add around £6 to £8 for the amount we took home comfortably. If it's free it's a womble :)

Thank you The Only Girl :)

I have to say it was the lovely Twiggy86 from the small things thread that taught me about shopping apps earlier this year. Big thanks are due to her:T glad you are also benefitting.

1HANNAH is brilliant at shopping apps too. She has taught me that if there is a good freebie say, £1 off a pack of sausages, buy them individually that way you get £1 several times, obviously only good if it's a good price and you like sausages but boosts cashback totals :)

  • Hello, me again. Just came back from my yellow sticker shopping and I couldn't be more pleased with what I've got. I bought 47 items in total for a humble amount of £9.98. These include 2 bouquets of flowers for 20p each (dropped one bouquet off to my bff's house), a chocolate cake (mega-malty chocolate factory ultimate cupcake) for £1, cod fillet, smoked salmon pate, spicy potato wedges, donuts, ciabattas, single cream, lots and lots of bread, pastries, cookies, chicken curry, fruits, vegetables and I can't remember what else all for 5p a pack. Total of 8 carrier bags!!! The full price would have been £47.30, giving me a savings of £37.42. It is highly addictive and makes me feel slightly guilty (I feel like I'm robbing the shop). . To make me feel less guilty i bought THREE full priced items eg bananas and 2 packs of couscous for 50p each That's not all -- I paid for them in 3 batches so 3 receipts uploaded on check out smart for 5p a receipt. Will get a cash back of £1.85 for the Coke Life as well. Oh to be debt free.

Hubby came home from work with his first ever womble. A £5 in the scrub suit he wore today on duty. Went straight to the emergency fund tin.
